  1. Looks really nice bud. Big projects like this always run into stumbling blocks, it goes with the teratory. Even big ass tuning companies have problems, they just choose not to broadcast it in project thread etc that's all. As for the pedals, you can fit them easily with the dash in place. I did mine in a tiny garage not much bigger than the car with the car doors still on. You should find in easy with all the space and access you have.
  2. I'm in so is Bossco wether he likes it or not.
  3. Westy you need to use some small long nose mole grips on the screw. It will crack off pretty easily with those big man.
  4. I'd reccomend unbolt ing the A/C and PAS pumps and just dropping them down under the engine. This will stop you having to disconnect the pipes and losing fluid. You can leave the fluid in a 6 speed but not a 5 speed. Once you slide the prop out all the fluid comes out the back.
  5. All the best supras are white, everyone knows that. There came out of the factory faster than all other supras too. They also make you lots more attractive to woman. Your a lucky man.

When do you think you'll have the engine in by?

Most if not all the vac lines should be connected to the GE engine anyway. It's only the charcoal canister, fuel tank vent that's external to the engine and those can just get binned anyway. Odviously there's the brake booster but that will just be a direct replacement from mk3 to mk4. Drop the engine in the car Roger and I'll come over and sort out the vac lines for you, and bin what's not needed.
  8. Were leaving the house at about 10.45pm then it's off to Newcastle for parmo party time.
  9. I had a parmo from this place in Newcastle last weekend and there awesome, trust me. Ross and I are rolling over there about 11pm if any of you muggles fancy joining us.

I really don't think my engine will be a very good comparison if I'm honest
  12. As above please. Does anyone have a list of them or a link to find them. Cheers John
  13. This should run perfectly as your walbro did, a pump is a pump. Sounds to me as if either the sock has fallen off, and your fuel level is lower than the bottom of the pump, or your feed line is loose/not sealed and it's letting air in.

Do you have it running or will it not start Roger, or have you tried to turn the engine over. I've worked on both mk3's and MKIV's so know my way around them both really. If you post some pics up of how the car looks now and what needs plumming in, I may be able to help. I'll be struggling to get over for a look though, I've got Stevo's engine to rebuild, a mk3 to fit a bigger turbo, Ross's engine to strip and then Bossco's car is getting a greddy plenum so as you can see its a bit full on for me up to Xmas lol. I'm happy to help as much as I can though.
  15. Not sure if I'll be there, I'm scared of Matt bullying me.
  16. Ahh mate, your not having much lunch with this thing are you. Hope you get it sorted soon.
  17. The engine bay diagnostic port has been removed from the engine bay. I'm i right in thinking the one in the cabin is an ODB2 on a facelift VVTI?
  18. I've need doing some work on Kopites car. after a visit to the ring he's boiled his brake fluid and it was like treacle. I've drained the system, flushed and refilled it. Brakes are working perfect now but the ABS light and MIL light are still on. What's the procedure to reset the light. The car is a single turbo facelift with an AEM ECU. Any help would be great. Cheers John
  19. I'll just see you at the metro. I've just got in from work
