  1. I can't make it guys sorry. Paula's away on holiday and I've got Johnathan. I'm going to take the time to crack on with some of the Supra graft I've got on. Sorry.
  2. Will work just as good or even better with a kiddies turbo
  3. Yeah I'm running an S6. I would buy 1 again simply for the safety features above anything else, it's saved my engine a few times. The best fun factor for me is the rolling anti-lag. Second gear is hilarious.
  4. Left hand of the steering wheel so when I let go of the button my hand go straight to the shifter, especially if I launch in 2nd. 8000rpm comes VERY quickly lol.
  5. There's no need to heat wrap them. There on the oposite side to anything hot. I also only use Teflon braided lines and there quite resilient to heat.
  6. Wasn't sure how many would remember what I meant.
  7. That's because you mustn't pause, mustn't hesitate or you get a bash on the head.
  8. Bloody hell, I've never noticed that before lol.
  9. Ahh sorry dude, no mate those are wastegate linesz
  10. Well I would have had the car running yesterday but ALMOST has a cotastorophy. Got the whole thing together, put in my magnetic sump plug and pow, the thread snapped off the plug, leaving the thread in the sump and the head and magnet came out. Luckly, I managed to tap the thread back out with a screwdriver and a hammer. Very lucky I think as if it didnt come out I'd have had to strip it all back down again. This is the offending part. I've ordered a new plug and will have it running in no time. New Royal purple oil filter fitted. Picked these up from Toyota the other day. It's a new 1 way check valve and seal for my idle control valve. Mine was leaking when the car was mapped so Ryan turned it off straight after cold start. I'm wanting it all working correctly again so Ryan can turn it back on all the time again. New boost control Solenoid to go in. Finally got myself some more Royal purple oil. Only the best for The Kraken.
  11. I got it all apart and still couldn't get it low enough to get the upper sump out. Well that's until I realized I hadn't loosened off the ARB lol. Not a bad job at all after that. Almost back together now.
  12. They join the front and rear sections of the subframe together, I'd say they were pretty important. I'd get them fitted especially if your running any kind of decent power.
  13. I'm pretty lucky we've got a paint shop at work. The management are starting to clamp down on guvvy jobs now though so I can't see this perk lasting much longer.
  14. Thanks Chris. It really does look brand new under there now. Once it's all back together I'll post a picture or 2 of it.
  15. A few pictures of today's progress. Here's all my freshly painted parts. Upper sump, oil pan guard and oil pickup all cleaned and refitted. I got the lower sump and subframe also fitted tonight but didnt get any pics, I'll sort some tomorrow. The underside of the car looks brand new now with all the nice painted parts. Here's a couple of other random shots from underneath. All being well ill have her running tomorrow.
  16. Got all the painted parts tonight. These really do look the nuts. It's going to be just as Shiney underneath as in the engine bay. I'll post some pics up of them tomorrow before I begin the refit.
  17. Your N/A ABS relay won't be in the same sort of box as you don't have traction control. It will be 2 relays on there own
  18. Some N/As do have it. It's the traction control and ABS relays. Some N/As came with ABS and some didnt.
  19. Quick shot of the engine held up with the support bar.
  20. It wasn't too bad at all. Not sure what its all going to be like putting it back together though. I'm hoping to start with it all on Friday after I've been training. Fingers crossed I'll have it back together And running by Friday night if all goes well.
  21. Thanks Dave. Not wanting to do half a job, while I've got the subframe off, I've taken it into work to get it blasted and pained as well as the support arms and oil pan too. Be rude not too really. There all painted now and drying so should be ready for me to get in the morning.
