  1. I've never heard of that sort of thing happening especially loading it into a truck. You could understand at 9000rpm but WOW, is all I can say.

    Idle Up for PAS

Mines blocked off anyway. The car shouldn't cut out at all it just stops you revs dropping. Block it off and be done with it. It's only clutter after all.

    Idle Up for PAS

It's a black plastic valve with 2 pipes coming from it. It's screwed into the banjo that is attached to the side of the PAS pump. 1 pipe goes to the bottom of the TB (negative vacuum), and 1 pipe to the intake manifold (positive vacuum).
  4. I'm working on a car at the minute for a member and the PAS pump has a banjo on. I'll tAke a pic for you when I get up this afternoon.
  5. All VSV's seemed fine, turbos were spooling as they should. I recon it's going to be a needle in a haystack.
  6. All I did was adjust your boost controller and abused it for a few minutes. My guess is a wiring fault somewhere. I'm sure Jurgens boys will sort it for you come Friday.
  7. Ohh sh1t, I got your text Ross but I've been ill in bed all day. Will you text me about 4pm and remind me please and I'll chop it off the loom for you.
  8. I'll be leaving at 7.30. Got a Physio appointment at 8pm
  9. Who's going tomorrow. I recon I'll fetch The Kraken out for a blast. I'll be there about 6ish.
  10. The Syvecs only needs 1 Knock sensor. I've got pin outs for where the sensors go on the Syvecs plug if you want to run them direct.
  11. Unless you want big power James, you don't need a built block IMO. Don't waste your money. If you don't want a lumpy idle, I'd go for a set of 264 cams. The plenum is not nessessary but a nice feature. The Wangan Supra was running over 800hp in Japan with a stock intake manifold and throttle body. If it were me, I'd have a Syvecs fitted first, as it has an awesome traction control and safety features, then upgrade your cams and intake if you wish at a later date. That's if you don't want to she'll out all the cash at once and do it all together.
  12. The problem is, the stock loom is odviously very old, and IMO, for the nessessary sensors the Syvecs is using I would want brand new wires to illuminate any interference that might occour. I made a full custom loom for my car, every added sensor had fresh wiring and all the wires that weren't needed wre removed.
  13. Just below the head on cylinder number 4. And M8 thread around there will do.

    Blue Hylomar

You don't need a sealant on the front and rear crank seals. I used Sikaflex on the sumps, works perfectly.
  15. I'm not sure on the details of the spec clutch but the one I have is rated to 765 ft/lb of torque. Ryan said that equates to over 1000hp. It's also around the same price as the spec clutch too. I've done 3000 miles since the clutch was fitted and most of those miles were on boost. 2nd gear rolling anti-lag launches etc etc, and it's never faultered. I really can't reccomend this clutch enough.
  16. It's not for anything. Nothing goes in there at all. No idea why it's there either.
  17. Does that bolt to a stock flywheel too?
  18. The Syvecs can generate enough spark for well over 1000whp, take it out. As Jamie says, you'll fry your coils.
  19. As sbove, the DLI isn't needed.
  20. Drop Dane a line at DC-Automotive about 1 of his single plate clutches. Why have a noisy twin or triple plate and a noisy flywheel. I'm running a stock flywheel, a single disc clutch with a pedal about 20% stiffer than stock holding over 900hp easily and at a fraction of the cost of a multi-disc, it's a no brainer really.
