    Strange crash....

Big hair ? Nah, this is big hair...almost a guardsmans bearskin in fact. Note the perm on the wife...what were we like.

    English or Polish?

Beat me to it..I was going to suggest he'd mistaken the ticket for the Chicken Curry.
  5. Yup, I saw it. Sad, but interesting none the less. The kid getting £ 2500 from his primary school for stubbing his toe playing footie at break time was particularly annoying. Our money too.

    Strange crash....

the words 'sticking' and 'scrape' are a little worrying. What exactly are you using this book for ?
  7. Its at the bottom of this description of what its all about... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holophonics
  8. They charge per minute Jazzy....one minute minimum per call. They have this written in the T and C.
  9. It is, but thanks for posting again. It is really weird, very cleverly done. Have you heard the sexy whispering Italian (or Spanish ?) woman one too ?
  10. Seen a dark graphite one local too. Rather nice indeed, lovely styling.
  11. Since the thread about slow speed crashes with big damage, I dug out a couple of pics of a fairly high speed crash with little damage. Mid '80s, brother and I bombing around some country lanes at night, lost the brakes just at a 90 degree bend at the end of a long straight. We hit a high sloping bank square on at around 60 / 70...the car ran up the bank, then the nose dug into the top ridge and we flipped clean over end over end, a full 360 and landed on all four wheels in a field. Completely cleared a wire fence on the way over. Niether of us so much as a bruise, we drove the car out through a gate, and got a mile up the road before she gave out. The next day, we found out the Alfa was actually held together with filler:) Someone was watching over us that night.
  12. Anytime, my little pOrca.
  13. Thats either Watchmen or Sin City.
  14. Ive seen a thread on here with a seat that had a stripped thread on the worm screw....but if you cant hear the motor running, its probably not that.
  15. Never mind cuddlybuttocks, we still love you.
  16. I used to be a tart, and bought a Blitz Sonic. Mucho blingo, great noise, expensive, I felt good. Then one day I woke up an ex-tart, and realised that there were a lot of knowledgeable people on here and most of them advised against aftermarket induction, and that the OEM set up was pretty much optimised for stock twins...power and filtration wise, if not bling. I went back to stock, I felt even better.
  17. Theres always a silver lining....yours is that the rain is Northumbrian rain, the mud is Northumbrian mud. Your Supra should be proud to get them dumped on it. Just think of the poor southerners and Northumbrians in exile like me....the rain and mud down here is wussy and characterless. Its probably whats left after the French have used it.
  18. Daily driver here, rain or shine. I'm reasonably anal about her, look after her as much as I can, but she gets dirty and grubby every day. Winter months shes washed once a couple of weeks or so, summer, at least once a week. I keep an eye out for chips etc, and make sure theres no mud in the arches, but dont get too wound up if a week goes by without it getting polished. I can appreciate the work involved in those who keep theirs concours clean, and fair play to them, but its transport for me and I dont have the time.

    Big up to HP

I find this rather amazing. Sons HP PC goes belly up...rings HP at 3pm. Problem diagnosed (motherboard), technician sent out, up and running again by 7.30pm same day. 4 1/2 hour downtime.
  20. gocompare gocompare to be sure this ****ing advert drives me spare the bloke is very fat and acts like a complete t*at when it comes on again I despair gocompare rev it up and get the **ck off out gocompare
  21. (cringe) Michelle Pfeiffer may have a silent p, but you can hear her dump blocks away.
  22. Sent this on an e-mail around the office this morning. Waited for a few laughs or groans, nothing. Then the e-mails started...'who was it Ewen ?' 'What does ANBG mean ?' 'not nice, I'm sure it wasnt one of us'. The best was 'it stands for Association of Natural Burial Grounds. Its a nutter. Run Foster, run'. Kinda backfired on me. As did the old 'odd one out' routine a while back. No one thought that was funny either.
  23. Thats quite good...I'll use that one.
