  1. Sadly, that is the case. Not only that, but as far as I can tell it's superglue so any chance of a half-decent bonnet once I take the air-brake off (no hole either ) is nil.
  2. Car was running at stock boost, the only modification being an exhaust and 2nd decat I'll be going single but not til the new year; thankfully I've got a 2nd-hand set to go on courtesy of Andyhannah I'm quite chuffed so far, as I've managed to get the cat off as well as the turbo stays and oil pipework all with the hangover from hell. I even fell asleep under the car for about half an hour! Must say though, the Loctite 'Freeze & Release' stuff is an absolute godsend!
  3. Got the cat off today, despite a raging hangover - I think the contents of it are fairly conclusive!
  4. Looking good I'll be fitting mine this weekend - got a HKB / Nardi type boss from an ebay shop for £17
  5. how much for the I-trip?
  6. Possibly done by a big 4WD with a tow bar? I had a scaffolding van reverse into the side of my celica in a car park - not pleasant. But it only cost £1200 to cut out, weld in and fully paint the whole passenger side rear quarter panel!
  7. Aldi sell one for £500 - picture ain't too bad either, HD ready etc. I bought one off my neighbour 2nd hand
  8. Likely to be KYB shocks and aftermarket lowering springs, imho.
  9. This one: http://www.autometer.com/img/products/7174_d.jpg from here Blue EL effect backlight (think it's LED, rather than true EL), Full sweep electric 52mm gauge. Comes in dash mountable chrome holder, or can be removed from holder and placed elsewhere. Boxed up and ready to go. Nearly new condition, never used by myself and only briefly by previous owner. Comes complete with sender unit. Looking for £70 ono + p&p (approx £8 next day delivery)

    How to gain weight

Don't forget to drink plenty of water - at least 2 to 3 litres a day.

    Potential newbie

Definitely go TT, or you will never truly understand the Supra experience If you're worried about maintenance costs then get yourself handy with a socket set; you'll save thousands!
  19. Just wondering if any one can point me in the direction of a few wheel places that do something like a 6 month interest-free finance. That was how I bought my first alloys years ago from Wheelbase, and I still have the (Clydesdale Finance) card to go with it. It seems that finding decent rims for the Supra is a bit more difficult though, with very few common dealers offering anything more than the usual Wolfrace / TSW / ACE affairs. I guess I'm just an impatient sod and can't be bothered waiting til I've saved up
  20. The Eagle Owl really is gorgeous! Do you keep your own kind of mini zoo, Chris?
