  1. Aha! Found it! About halfway down the page: http://www.ssautochrome.com/level.itml/icOid/1489 I think at that price, it's safe to think of it as disposable!
  2. Damn, I like the Abflug! If only I could afford one!
  3. Sorry Sam, that'll be my memory fading as old age creeps up on me! I tell ya, I'll be senile by 30!
  4. Did the mate give any reasons?
  5. Go on, both reds to live. Chicken What's the worst that could happen? A blown bulb or fuse? :edit: Actually, it makes sense. It'll be a 2 gang system with common earth, so both red SHOULD be wired to the live, hence why one light works or not when they are switched around. Invoice is in the post
  6. I scraped most of mine off with a bit of soft plastic - the spreaders you get for fibreglass are ideal. Then get any remainders off with a rag and some white spirits. A quick once over with some scratch remover / G3 / T-Cut, then reapply your usual wax. Hey presto, clean as you like.
  7. Have you tried wiring both red to the live? It's doubtful that one of them would be an earth.
  8. Not if they're original Toyota, no. If they're orignal Toyota, they're a bit more. :edit: Do a search on spats in the Parts for Sale section - skirts and spats have sold together for a lot more than that in the past!
  9. From what she was telling me, the T70 is happy running 400bhp on a fairly standard set-up too, and is suited for autos looking for a small single due to less lag than the T61 they supply (or something like that!). Have you asked Sam or Greg for any turbo details? If anyone can supply them it will be those guys!

    Hi there everyone

You'd be surprised mate - you can pick up a '93 TT for around 8k now, sometimes less
  11. Unless I'm mistaken, Sam runs the T70 on her car at anything up to 750bhp on race fuel.
  12. I was thinking about this the other day - and I have never seen a pair of axle stands like the ones shown in the above picture / toyota manual! All the axle stands I've seen arelike the ones photographed above, with no slot for the sill thingymajig.
  13. it's hideous (apart from the front bumper - C-West isn't it?)
  14. I've got some spare 2nd hand fronts if you want them.
  15. Mutant are crap - you may as well go for some of those plastic SPLx ones. Or Toxic. Budget brands to tempt 1st-car owning Max Power readers.
  16. You don't want to remove the DV as you'll get turbo stall - instead you want to make it into a recirculating dump valve, i.e. dumping the air back into the intake. I'm sure Greg could rig something up for you.

    Tuning Competence

    I'll just settle down in the corner over here . . . I do like a good witch-hunt . . .

    Attention Mods

doesn't work for me either - the link seems to be missing an id at the end

    Auto box's

So what kind of modifications would be needed if you wanted, say, 600fwhp throught the auto box? A decent tranny cooler, obviously, but anything else?
  20. Hmmm, I wonder if it's worth investing in one of those 'roto-zip' type things?
  21. lol, cheers dude! Neither am I!
  22. What would people recommend for clean, accurate cuts in carbon fibre roughly 1.5mm - 2mm thick? I bought a cheap CF coil pack cover from ebay - 1st one turned up mangled, 2nd one is okay(ish) but doesn't fit at the front as the CF is 'buckled' in. I was going to cut the front bit away so you can see the cam pulleys

    Collage

I once did a nice collage with lots of pva glue and pretty coloured crepe paper. The boss wasn't so impressed though.
