  1. Off work today so gonna have a sesh cleaning the car inside and out and get active lip fitted, along with some trimmed interior panels.
  2. Ah screw it! This weekend is about cars not catching up with other folks. I'm in 1) hodge 2) Bossco 3) Robby (in his little French number) 4) Stevo (in his zero boost number) 5) 6) Where do you mean by Gosforth services though, cos there aren't any proper services at Gosforth? Do you mean Kingston Park where big tescos and that is? Which route we taking?
  3. Might be better off just going to a bodyshop and asking them to get it for you. If you know EXACTLY what you want and the amount, I could ask my brother if he can get it in.
  4. Ross too! I'm going up earlier as I'm hoping to call in on some friends that live Jedburgh way for a catch up.
  5. I wouldn't be surprised if the vast majority of bodyshops actually used one of these. My bro works in an Aston Martin bodyshop and I think most of their stuff is Glasurit. Water based paints too.
  6. I would go with Glasurit or Sikkens mate http://www.sikkenscr.co.uk/sikkenscr/uk/Pages/HomePage.aspx http://www.glasurit.com/uk/glasurit-color-online
  7. Did you let Westy know about the ticket mate?
  8. Stevo

    Na-t build

    Glad to hear it Paul!
  9. Sure, I can hunt out a part number and price for you but I'll be tomorrow now mate.
  10. Toyota do an engine gasket and seal kit that pretty much cover everything for the engine, but naturally does not include the gearbox seals - these can be bought separately and aren't that expensive. I replaced my front and rear gearbox seals.
  11. Can you not knock up a carbon one at work mate?
  12. Yeah, I'll have a look out too. Mat, it is down the team valley retail world - just across the road from Maccy D's on the site where the Romanian car wash place is. People are usually there from about 6.30pm onwards. Didn't even know you had a new car!
  13. I thought your Supra was getting wrapped before the Scottish show Marc?
  14. Not easily by any means, but it should compress ok in a press (I just used a bench vice)
  15. Just heading out on my bike but will have a look down when I'm back.
  16. Had the same problem in my NA a few years ago now and cleaning the Idle Air Control Valve (IACV) sorted it out. There's a guide here but it's for a TT, although the principal is the same. Your IACV is on the front of the throttle body next to the Throttle Position sensor.
  17. Sorry Marc, I'm going to have to pull out of this as something has come up and I'll be in London that weekend now.
  18. Good progress so far mate. What handbrake handle is that?
  19. Hahaha! All very true about the carbon mate. You're right, it is a ball ache to work with and get a decent finish unless you have a big autoclave set up (which I don't, I work only in my kitchen on the bench lol). Spot on regarding the prices too - to recover the amount of hours work that goes into it, I'd have to charge prices that, to be honest, nobody would want to pay. Anyhow, you're mate has done a top notch job on your car and the whole car looks great - you should be very proud!
  20. The driver looks like he's about to get out and give you good hiding! Good job you had Phil with you lol
  21. 1.Safcdixon 2.MattP 3.marc_p 4. Hodge 5. Qwarrior 6. MclarenRoss 7. Jonny 8. Stevo 9. 10. 11. 12. 13. 14 15.
  22. Was the Spring Clean event the one full of chavs driving rovers into the bushes??
