  1. Good progress mate - keep it up. So you've had the dash retrimmed in leather have you?
  2. Nice and central Check out the North East events section mate - we often meet down at the team valley on a Wednesday night at the hand car wash place opposite Maccy D's. It's been a bit quit recently like with the nights cutting in and that. Keep your eyes on it though, Marc our events co-ordination organises dyno days and stuff from time to time.
  3. Welcome to the club mate. Whereabouts in Tyne and Wear are you?
  4. Nice seats mate. Any links to where you got them? Should be a great track toy when done or find some Aussie unrestricted roads but watch out for road trains lol!
  5. Plastidip. I did my active spoiler lip and it looked nearly OEM finish and has the flexibility needed if you do scrape it or catch it on a kerb.
  6. Metrocentre meeting is finished until about April now Joe
  7. Pleased to hear you are ok Sam. Crappy luck with with the car but at least if is repairable for a man of Marc's talents!
  8. For all the key bolts Chris mentioned above I used Toyota except for ARP on the head. Outside of that, I either reused the originals if they weren't fubar'd and were going to be out of sight or if they were going to be seen, I ordered stuff from these guys: http://www.custom-fasteners.co.uk/PBSCCatalog.asp?CatID=2382934 Good quick service and you can order individual pieces in either chrome or polished SS for most stuff.
  9. Haha yeah, I have been a bit absent lately haven't I. Must try harder
  10. I'd go if it was in Newcastle
  11. Stevo

    how much?

yeah - £250 to £300 depending on condition. Getting pretty rare now.
  12. Excellent outcome mate - they look great! What clear did you use, just a rattle can?
  13. Best of luck with the work mate - got some busy times ahead of you but at least cold weather won't slow you down I'm gonna guess Perth going from the rego plate?
  14. That was a quick change of heart I think you might be right about the rain like Marc - it has gone canny dark here by the metro.
  15. I'll not be there lads - family birthday to attend, soz.
  16. Have you only got 1 external door handle Sammy? I've got one here you can have but I'll need to check which side it is.
  17. What about the Weds SA-15s mate - they look good too and still concave.
  18. Cheers Jake. Not a new car just a lot of work done on my old one - engine was pulled out and refreshed too. Keep meaning to do a thread to capture it all but its nearly all done now with the exception of the interior retrim so it'd all be retrospective! Been following your build thread and the amount of hours sunk into that wheel refurb does look a total ball ache - top job on them though bud! I think Nic's all black suggestion would work but not about just a plain silver to be honest. Have seen this colour on the LFA and like it:
  19. So, since the exterior of the car is pretty much finished, I don't think the black spokes and polished lips suit the new body colour and I'm toying with the idea of a refurb. At the minute I fancy a dark silver/chrome colour as seen on some of the Weds Sport range like this (I'd actually love those wheels but can't afford them ): Any suggestions welcome with wheel pics if you like. Cheers
  20. Cool - let me know if there's anything I can do to help as well.
  21. Need to pull some all nighters on it man, like the SBA crew (aka Bossco & Hodge)!
  22. Given the amount of work Hodge put into this and the standard it's at, I'd be reluctant to class it in the 'SRD Portfolio'!
