  1. Welcome Mike. Yes, golf clubs do fit in the back but you'll need to drop the seats to accommodate a trolley too.

    Hey from AUS

Hi Kayne - always good to see international members signing up on here. Any pics of your car? Where in Oz are you from?
  3. Think I'd been talking about spraying mine for nigh on 3 years before finally sorting it.
  4. Spray it mate - wrapping wouldn't come close to a good spray job!
  5. Mine had its first introduction to rain yesterday, since coming out of the bodyshop
  6. I'm happy to meet at the gym and avoid Maccy D's. I'll not be coming in the Supra if it's lashing down mind!
  7. XO power is next door to Jurgen isn't it, and run by his brother??

    Grill mesh

Zunsport offer a club discount anyway on their website - 15% I think it was.
  9. Me too but it isn't finished yet - just a few cosmetic touches mainly though and a high idle to sort out.
  10. Maccy D's across the way from the Romanian car wash at the team valley? You coming in the supra Ross - back up and running again already?
  11. Wednesday 2nd April then - first meet of the year? 6:30pm sound ok?
  12. They look awesome mate! Perfect joint effort haha
  13. Not enough - put it that way Listy I'd never done a set of these before Listy so didn't know how long/fiddly it would be. IF I were to do another set of these, I'm afraid the price would be more... Pleased you like them Si and thanks for doing them justice with a decent pic that I can never seem to manage lol. Combined with your work on the LEDs these are gonna look awesome - would love to see some finished pics!
  14. Sorry I forgot to update this thread with the rest of the process pics Anyhow they're done but came back from the bodyshop with a couple of defects I wasn't happy with - mainly the lacquer having a few fish eyes in a couple of spots. there were also a few small pinholes here and there that needed filling by hand with a tiny drop of lacquer/hardener mix. Whilst I was at it, I sorted the problem in the picture simpy by brushing lacquer on by hand. At this stage they still needed flatting down a little before a quick polish up. So, each was rubbed down with 1200, 2000, 3000 papers then polished up with Menzerna FF4500 before being sent out. As usual it proved difficult to get decent pics that show off the carbon well, especially as I had no daylight left and a flash just bounces off them! Anyway... I'm canny chuffed with them given that I'd not tackled light inserts before. I didn't keep tabs on the number of hours involved in these but suffice to say it was a lot.
  15. So by the sounds of it Josh you've not removed the seal retainer/housing? It'll be very hard to do it with the back plate of the engine stand still attached - you'll be better off removing it then take of the seal housing, fit the seal into it then refit housing as per Swampy's pits above.
  16. I prefer mine with the recessed areas left black. For some reason I'm not too keen on seeing carbon weave running in different directions on the same part.
  17. Parts are: Throttle Body to Y-Pipe Gasket, Throttle Body: 22271-46020 Y Pipe to manifold Gasket, Intake Air Connector: 17849-46020
  18. Next major change was to the wheels – decided to plump for Ultralite GT IIs and paint my callipers yellow to get a good contrast with the black. The Ultralites are 8.5” front 9.5” rear. 19. So, since I’ve had the car quite a while now and not really put up many pics over the years, I thought I’d do a bit of a thread to share the changes it has gone through since I bought it. This has been prompted by a recent spell of work that has transformed the car entirely but I’ll start with what it looked like back when I bought it in September 2007... After picking it up from a bloke in Bishop’s Stortford this is the first day I got it home: At this point there wasn’t a lot of mods on the car other than the 18” Braid alloys, HKS Mushroom air intake, 1st decat pipe and the OEM skirts and spats (original Toyota plastic). Oh, and the Blitz Nurspec exhaust that made it sound like a spitfire from inside! Paintwork was in moderate condition but the front lip was cracked from a run in with a rabbit apparently. The first change I made was to get rid of the exhaust for something that didn’t make my ears bleed with the droning, given that the car is a daily driver. I swapped this out for a new HKS Silent Hi-Power which still gave some good sounds on throttle but it is a lot quieter in the cabin. After that, I just enjoyed driving it for a few years or so.
