  1. Very poor interest in this so I'm knocking it on the head - obviously Hodge, Bossco and Matt can still have a get together if they fancy it.
  2. How does this feel compared to the stock clutch mate?
  3. I heard that Hodges build thread is available for download on kindle translated into 15 different languages!
  4. The Kraken will not disappoint you if you're serious about the budget - and if you are what's another 3-4k for a respray in black??
  5. Given the number of cars being broken at the minute, surely one of them has a 100amp alternator on the go - doesn't matter whether its an NA or TT. The 100 amp from my NA runs Hodge's mahoosive single with all manner of after market electrics on it.
  6. Shall we say 6pm at the restaurant then out for beers then? There's no home match that weekend Ross.
  7. So.... It's that time of year again. Who is up for a night out - grub and beers? Thinking about Saturday 21st December at Aneesas on the quayside. All you can eat Indian grub for £15 and its good quality. Menu here: http://aneesas.co.uk/menu/newcastle-quayside/ Names on a list here please.
  8. Have you fitted the exhaust surround yet mate? Keen to see some pics...

    Carbon skinning

Have done various parts now and it shouldn't be a problem with the thickness as long as you are careful with how many layers of epoxy etc you use.

Drop jonny248 a PM mate. I spoke with him yesterday and mentioned this thread to him. He has an NA and only lives up the road from you in Seghill.
  11. Hahaha - bet it didn't look any better coming out! Hope you's enjoyed it lads.
  12. Try future motorsports
  13. Ah yeah, I remember now there were a few close calls with some of the low cars last time.
  14. I'll not be there mate but best of luck. Is the Kraken going on like??
  15. I'm heading straight to toys r us but not staying long. Just need a quick look under a supra bonnet for something...
  16. Totally agree with you mate. If things don't speed up and/or the weather takes a turn for the worse then I'll just put everything on hold until the Spring and the car can sit on the drive with a SORN.
  17. 3 Germans in the house is no Loling matter. I have just wupped Christian 10-2 at pool like
  18. Bugger. Ok cheers mate. We've got some of Robins friends staying with us so that has put a temp halt on proceedings
  19. Was hoping to just move the master brake cylinder out the way and leave the booster on there to be sprayed.
  20. Try using the throttle body cleaner that comes in an aerosol can.
  21. Hey, I’m looking for some advice where the brake system is concerned. The car is with the bodyshop at the minute for a respray (change of colour) and I’d ideally like the brake booster drum and also the brake pipes running along the bulkhead to be sprayed in the new body colour - and obviously the bulkhead/firewall behind them! Can the pipes and the brake master cylinder be detached from the bulkhead and booster drum without bleeding the whole system, if the pipes remain attached to the master cylinder? Cheers
