It should fix it if you don't allow it to swap in the settings.

I don't have a tom tom so hopefully the maps link can be provided. What about waze?

I was planning to set off around 2/3 perhaps. Happy to adjust whenever you are going.

It all depends on what madness happens at work, I can't really commit to a time but it's likely to be between 4 and 5 if all goes well. I wouldn't hold out for me, as I wouldn't want you waiting around if I finish late which is a distinct possibility!

Edit. Nevermind i installed the App on my phone and imported the routes. Free 30 day trial so all is good.

I've just paid for another month and yes I can confirm the custom routes have shown up in the TomTom Go App 🙂 I may try it with my AppleCarPlay on the new Kenwood head unit, but I do find it a pain having to look down at it, where as the tomtom satnav is in my eye line. I do run waze on the head unit for the police alerts etc... But prefer a satnav to be a satnav, if you know what I mean.

Update:

I tired the TomTom Go app on the Apple CarPlay last night on the headunit. It doesnt show the menu option for 'My Routes' on the headunit. You can open them on the phone and selct the custom routes, and it will then start the route guidance on the headunit. So it will work, but the other thing I found was I cannot run Waze at the same time on split screen.

So I'm sticking with TomTom in my eyeline on the dash, Waze on the headunit screen giving me audible warnings of police etc... and split screen BBC Sounds app for radio.

Alright guys, unfortunately left things a little late for the mollies booking, on the day are we all stopping for a meal somewhere or will you all be having a meal at mollies? If so do you think i would still be able to go in considering i am not staying the night?

Have you tried to book a room today? There may be some left?

No meal during the day, but people will be eating together at Mollies, or there's a Miller & Carter close by.

I tried last friday and he said unfortunately there was no rooms left at the supra discounted price, they want £140 a room now which i cannot justify as i only live 1.5 hours away from there. Just didnt want to miss out in the evening when everyone is able to get together

Millers is fully booked unless you want to eat after 9 or before 5. It's a Saturday night so most places will be getting booked up, so I would be booking as soon as you can. It's unlikely that we are going to be able to all eat together given the group size and that we haven't pre booked somewhere.

I think iv discovered something with google. Me and my wife always share travel routes. She makes them. I drive them. So she will send them to me to have a look at. And we never have this wierd issue were it doesnt allow us to navigate.

BUT

Messing arround tonight i found this. (I use android but would assume these would work on apple)

Take a route. Open the link on PC.

Add a stop before the first one of "Your location" (I needed to do this on the pc as when i did this on mobile it added the stop at the bottom and couldnt move it)

Share the link  (3 horizontal lines in the top left and then the share button halfway down) and send it to yourself so you can open it on your phone.  So, message yourself on facebook or email, whatever.

Open that link on your phone.

That will navigate you from your current location to the first waypoint where i assume it will then pick up the next one.

I have NO IDEA why it does this. I assume it will only navigate from "current location"

If you exit navigation on your phone and then remove the first waypoint you made, it changes the "start" button from navigation to "Preview" so we are back where we started...

The problem with this is i cant share that on here as when you share it again it converts "my location" to a coordinate.   And as much as i love the club i dont want you reprobates coming arround my house 😄

I have just used the tomtom app though and imported the routes. Seems to work fine.

Of all the routes where are the stops?

I assume we are not stopping at Lauras diner and then driving for 13 mins and then stopping at mcdonalds?  is it just a waypoint to navigate by?

So we are stopping at Elan, The diner, then up the mountain?

I presume we are stopping after each stage, Branners did the routes, I just converted them for the tomtom's. So at each stop, just load up the next route.

Edit: I've checked with Branners and yes, at the end of each route it's a stop, including the McDonalds wee wee stop he says Lol

I know you're all seasoned and experienced Dragonballers by now lol So I'm sure I don't need to remind you all to fill up with fuel the night before we set off in the morning 🙂

Here are the nearest Shell V-Power and Tesco Momentum 99 to the Premier Inn:

Shell, Whitecross Rd, Hereford HR4 0DG
