So been rather busy yesterday, massive thank you to James aka theturtleshead for the help, there is no way I would have tackled this job on my own. The new Valve stem seals are in now but I'm waiting on some cam shaft oil seals and top water neck gasket to get it all finished up, as the old oil seals hadn't been fitted correctly and we didn't fancy refitting them. They should be here Tuesday so the plan is to get it finished Tuesday eve.

Here is a couple of snaps from the days work.

So as she is still in bits I took the opportunity to tidy a few bits up, got the bov sanded back and re polished a job that has been annoying me for a long time so glad that is done, re polished the top hard pipe, and gave the new water neck a quick going over. Once all those were done I repainted my PAS matt black as it was chipped in places and fitted my new painted pulley.

Finally I carried on with a carbon project I have been working on, something I wanted to try for a while, but the plan is to redo them in fibreglass and re-cover them in padding and suede. Made some progress on the shape. Quite happy with the results so far.

Nice job.

A fiddly job isn't it, you're a braver man than me I only did is as i had someone by my side who knew what they were doing.

He's a good egg that Jeffers bloke  Glad you got it sorted Jake.
