I will try my best to get some pictures up, for some reason neither my ipad or phone will let me upload pictures but I will do my best to get some up.

I think I understand. You got the car with no rear brakes on it? Therefore there's no discs on it, so it would look to the untrained eye that it has rear drums.

Throw some Escort drums on it. Then you really have a 1/1 option. :D

I believe his first post was telling Steve M that his car is not a proper build compared to what he is doing; it had the snowball effect of annoying people :D

Oh, he was off to a good start then!

FLAME ON!!

Atleast he's seen the error of his ways, poor bugger :D

For your next few posts I suggest the following topics:

NA-T, is it worth it

What power can a W58 run

What cone filter should I run

Can I remap a stock ecu.

Also, this 'is' apparently my true post count. Branners got cheesed off with having post it notes everywhere in his house. I've also taken the liberty to report this post to seek confirmation. I suggest everyone reports their own post too :D

Do it, I dare you!

I want to see how he/she pans out over their next 30 or so allowed posts.

I don't really want to do a na-t conversion because I have a friend with a 1jz gte r154 he would give me a good deal on, ideally I would like for it to make about 500- 650 to the wheels and I know that is high hopes for what I am but I also am starting a buiseness this summer so money shouldn't be that big of a problem

You are starting a business and money shouldn't be that big a problem. You sound like some 16 year old kid with no money! :D

Don't take this in the wrong way, you got a lot to learn & right now it sounds like you are going in several directions at once.

The Supra on the trailer looks like it has been used for banger racing.

Yup, I may sound like a broke teenager but I'm really not, the pic on the trailer is when we just got it home and it was going to be a race car but the last owner gave up on it. I do have a lot to learn but this isn't my first serious build it is my first Japanese car build

I used to want to live in America with its glorious hot sunny californian days.. then I realised you pay $35000 for a supra and suddenly rainy old lincolnshire didnt seem so bad!

I saw the other day a post on a US supra based facebook page for a pair of front door cards advertised at $1500! I nearly shit out my kidney! Who the fcuk would pay that, seriously!

Well my dad is a partial owner of the car even though I am paying for it but he said we should just get the 2jz gte with the v160 for it and he would lens me the money. I know I will probably be yelled at for asking this but what would you guys recommend for a turbo setup to be making about 600 rwhp, I would like to do a anti lag system as well.

I wouldnt even worry about turbo choice yet as you dont have an engine just yet , and by the looks of it turbo tec would of moved on so much by the time this builds finished / ready for the turbo ,

UNLESS

you over night parts from japan and start up a tab at harries

Turbo presicion gen2 6266

I agree with your v160 or v161 and a 2jz gte

your need a stand alone ecu your going to be looking at another £8000 for the box and engine plus another £2000 for the ecu and then £1500 for the tubby this doesnt include other little parts that will prberbly set you back another £3000 these are all rough costs.

I went and spent nearly £800 on a few "little parts" for mine :p

Good luck also pay the membership fee and you can get it into supra chat to start it as a project thread
