Wrapped the cats yesterday and untangled the wiring loom, it got cleaned and re taped and bar the top dash

is pretty much all back in place and ready for the body to go back on the chassis, lubed all the new mounting

bushes ready for the big lift :)

Sorry for quality of photos they're off my phone

Also found a bonnet today that's in much better condition than mine and virtually rust free

and i'll be picking that up on saturday :)

Well the body fitted straight back on the chassis very easily so fingers and toe's crossed all

the body panels fit without any big gaps :)

Should be moving to a new workshop very soon so all depends when that happens, at least we have

a rolling chassis now so it's much easier to move.

And a dare i say it Merry Xmas to you too Chris, go easy on the mince pies and Sherry :) and

all the very best for a great New Year

A few photos from today, popped over to Guy Salmon Land Rover first thing to get the

new gear selector position box, best Land Rover dealership i've been in by far.

The wiper linkage is pretty much sorted now and is ready to be painted, the photo

is halfway through, popped them in the aquablaster after and they've come up

like new :)

We'll be firing it up tomorrow if all goes to plan

Bought a brand new Bosch battery which was flatter than the last pancake i had.

Popped it on the charger and then fired it up, only 2 problems and both were quickly

sorted, airlock in heater matrix and passenger side vents only blowing out luke warm

air which was down to the cable to the control temp dial needed adjusting.

Oh and 3 dash bulbs need replacing

No missfires, water leaks, oil leaks etc very happy with it and the air suspension

all works as well

I'll post the video once i get it out of my phone

Believe it or not this is the first video i've posted onto a forum so have no idea how

else to put it on here, i've read how to do it but i'm now more confused than when i started :D

Not much more to show really as we've called it a day for this year, the passenger seat

is fitted and all the electrics on that work as do the new LED bulbs for the gear position

indicator strips.

Hand brake is re connected as is the gearshift linkage and also fitting the front to rear

copper brake lines.

MERRY XMAS to everyone
