Edging a little nearer to the finish line :)

Goes over to the trim shop tomorrow to get the headlining done and the boot carpet, i'm contemplating

getting a bit of extra work done by them but undecided yet. Their leather work is very nice :innocent:

Lower tailgate has been wax oiled so should last me out i'd have thought :)

It just looks gorgoues. have you driven her much?

No mate its not been anywhere yet other than 100 yards to the trim shop.

Should be getting it mot'd and taxed in the next few days along with sorting out

a good agreed value insurance policy, the tricky part here is getting the value approved

Headlining is in but need to sort out the discolored trim that fits round the interior light and sun roof controls along with new covers for the interior lights as they've gone a tad yellow.

Also get the sun visors re trimmed

Boot carpet is being made now and should done in the next couple of days.

Tailgate is fully sorted bar fitting the decals and registration plate, i should have the replacement bonnet fully

rust free in the next couple of days and get it into paint.

Had a result finding the wiper spindle bushes as these are no longer available and mine were

totally shot.

They did a great job on the Range. The interior looks very nice too.

Yep everyone involved on the project has done a great job.

Jobs still to do

Get wheels and tyres up to Ibrar

Regas the air con

Remove & clean the sun visors

Fit 2 new interior light lens's

Change the interior light bulbs to LED's

Fit two new bonnet stop rubbers

Remove & clean the sunroof switch panel

Clean the whole inside properly

Clean and treat the leather with Gliptone leather treatment

Paint the air vents, front grill & fit

Paint the bonnet & fit

Fit new Range Rover decals

I'm also considering if we can match the leather getting the 3 panels in the boot trimmed

Dunk, that is faaannntastic . I would be well proud of that. Well done mate

Thanks Andrew, i got it outside today and it's going to need a fair bit of work on the

paint, possibly a re paint if i want it perfect, the camera makes it look much better

than it really is.

Got the wheels and tyres up to Ibrars in one hit :)

Sun visors are nice and clean, another job crossed off the list :)

Doing the same with the grab handles and the trim piece that fits round

the front interior light

Fitted new door seals as well today and fixed the front passenger seat, the

cable from the back tilt motor had self destructed so a nice easy fix

Small update:

The grab handles are now back to looking like new, on route to

fit them now then off to the MOT

Good luck ;)

Thanks Luc

Wow, great news, I hope its inaugural run is a pleasure to you. Reading about its rebirth has been a great pleasure here. May I wish you both bon voyage? :)

Thanks Chris, glad you've enjoyed the write up :)

There's still lots to do but pretty much all cosmetic now. Inside and out.

A very serious clean on the inside is next on the list then fit the wheels once Ibrar has them ready :)

Attacking the wood trim is possibly the biggest interior job left to do and trimming the parcel shelf

parts in matching leather if we can find it

Then attack the paintwork !!!
