I haven't done a search yet, but what ethanol % is in the meth?

On the other hand, ethanol is less chemically toxic than methanol, and it carries more energy per gallon. Ethanol contains about 75 percent of the energy of gasoline per gallon, compared to 67 percent for methanol. Both thus achieve fewer miles per gallon than gasoline, but about as many miles per dollar at current prices, and probably many more miles per dollar at future prices.

Methanol is more corrosive than ethanol. This can be dealt with by using appropriate materials in the automobile fuel system. A fuel system made acceptable for methanol use will also be fine for ethanol or pure gasoline.

Both ethanol and methanol are water soluble and biodegradable in the environment. The consequences of a spill of either would be much less than that of petroleum products. If the Exxon Valdez had been carrying either of these fuels instead of oil, the environmental impact caused by its demise would have been negligible.

Both are 109RON. Methanol bears more oxygen than ethanol, allows for a richer mixture and has a lower vaporisation point. It has more heat dissipation than ethanol too.

Thats pretty good for a bpu car, does it have an EGT sensor? Be nice to know what they was.

It had an egt temp gauge in when I first got the car, I removed it a few months ago cause i removed the A pillar pod it was in and it looked like a cheap style of gauge. The sensor is still there to be used with the syvecs though

Just out of interest, as this has hybrid turbo's, has anyone ever ran ethanol / methanol on a Bpu car with stock twins? And if you could would there be any real gains to be had by doing this. Might be another option for us stock twin Bpu guys.

Not 100% sure tbh, I know some people have used Meth water injection kits which helps to cool charge temps but we are actually mapping for it as well so the gains should be good.

It would work just as well on a stock turbo car but you would be limited on boost with the J spec turbos

You would need to be running a Syvecs to have this function though
