I have also been getting a little fed up with the stick on carbon fibre dash so i decided to get some more pannels and refurb them myself.

so far all thats been done is the dial piece and now the centre pannel this bit was snapped in two and scratched to bits, plus it had been cut to fit a aftermarket single din unit. I think the technical term is scrap :p but here is the pannel now, it has been repaired and trimed to fit my current double DIN headunit all it needs is paint.-

and a close up to show the imperfections :(

Next i changed a few of the old bolts for some nice shiny chrome ones :)

Next I removed the igniter bracket and gave it a lick of paint as it was looking a tad tired.

Also couldnt believe how grubby it was under the bracket! so I made sure I gave it a wax before re fitting. :)

wire brush job was it mate? wonder if they are stainless :S they have an electro polishing bath at work. might give it a ago?

god know not a wire brush. They where wet flatted with various grade of wet and dry and used a electric polisher, after that a bit of rubbing compound, wax and then metal polish to finish.
