Done the skirts today, noticed some imperfections so tomorrow when they are dry, i can sort them and spot paint the area and the paint will just blend it, im loving this, PICS!

nice one, i just sprayed my front splitter satin black out of a can.. Only problem i can see is the paint isnt as strong as normal car paint so it chips alot easier, but then with satin you can just repair and spray over again..

Fair played

Quality finish there mate ..........lol :D

Did your labrador look after your white stick while you painted it?

I dont get you lol, the dry area? i didnt paint heavy i misted it all on, takes that long to dry that when you put another mist on it gets heavy on the panel, after its all black i go over with a mist to even the paint out

Thank you guys, your comments really do make me feel x10 better about this, thanks:)

Just don't be tempted to rush it....;) The spoiler and the skirts have come up well in the photographs, doing the body without patches will be difficult.

good luck..!!

Get a can of hammerite from halfords, dries really tough, perfect for the bottom of the bumper if your getting stone chips then

Dont remove it dude! mask of the lip and the front of the car, prep it, paint the lip, let it dry and remove the masking, job done, its that simple:)

Yeah but cant get the car high enough to get to the bottom for repair, so easier to remove bumper, when thats off i might as well take it off as itll take longer to mask it up.. Ill do it but i might get another lip and do that one properly

Got a dip on your drive? or jack the front up? seems like a little to much to keep taking it of to repair it:(

Was going to paint the repaired areas black, but i had some silver left over from doing my callipers, seemed great seeming as the chassis is silver, on the spot thing and came out great!
