Dave Posted February 17, 2009 Share Posted February 17, 2009 my drivers side window stopped working -took off door panel a wire had snapped off the cable cut it off now working great . cig lighter not working replaced it with a 4.99 one from car shop btw fuse for cig lighter is in drivers side footwell. speedo keeps stopping --new multiplug on the way . both rear calipers sticking slightly-- stripped and cleaned now ok slight rust on bottom edge of rear hatch window common fault i believe. other than that goes like a dream Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Dazzi Posted February 17, 2009 Share Posted February 17, 2009 Aerial won't go up, can't find the right exhaust (either too quiet or too loud), living in countryside the roads are filthy so the car gets dirty quick, slight rust round the boot window and parking dings! adnanshah247 Posted September 24, 2010 Share Posted September 24, 2010 the problem with my supra is, that it doesnt start, the gearbox doesnt change gears, the clutch doesnt engage or disengage, none of the electrics work, steering shot, brakes dont work, the list is endless. i need a supra back in my life...... Guigsy Posted September 24, 2010 Share Posted September 24, 2010 (edited) in no particular order... passenger recaro seat rattles when nobody is sitting in it. passenger door card has a rattle somewhere. rattle near the passenger door hinge/glovebox airvent i cant locate drivers door card has a strange flat spot where you would rest your elbow. but its like something has been spilt on it as if you scrape it with your finger nail it scrapes off. Its also sticky. You can clean it but its still there no speeker in the drivers door. although i have the speeker i havent got arround to fixing it into the housing (which was broken by the postman) the rubber grip has come off my brake peadle and i cant get it to stay on. dash needs modifying to house my boost controler. unless i decide to move it. passenger skirt is slightly cracked and paint flaking off arround the crack. front bumper has a bit of a scratch and paint chips. front lip doesnt quite fit right on one side. But thats my fault i fitted it rear bumper could do with a respray. pillar pod isnt finished. so i have no afr guage at the moment. need to make the extra pod for it. my boot blind pops out of the clips every time i open the boot whole car needs a propper detail with a pollisher. aeriel is broken and is currently in the boot Edited September 24, 2010 by Guigsy (see edit history) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Also have some paint peal on the drivers side rear arch where it was a stone chip now it's the size of the palm of my hand and I keep putting it off getting it re sprayed! James Posted September 24, 2010 Share Posted September 24, 2010 One of the clips where the heater box pipes come through the bulkhead is sticking so I haven't got everything reconnected yet to then re-fit the dash after replacing the heater matrix. Carpet needs dyed black (is currently out of the car). Seats look really weathered and could do with being replaced but I want Brides. Dash panels need sprayed. Centre glovebox compartment - one of the clips is broken. Boot rubbers need replaced. Ding on driver side rear quarter needs fixed (from previous owner). Wheels need a proper refurb instead of just me repainting them again! Front slam panel needs replaced and spot welded. Bumper support panel needs replaced. Intercooler has an indentation mark which will annoy me despite it not leaking boost. Spark plug cover needs repainted. Engine bay needs cleaned and degreased. Tyres currently on are crap and so need a full new set. Not satisfied with the J-Spec brakes so need to replace the pads and fluid at least. Need to buy and fit Ridox front bumper, splitter, skirts and spats. Need to source a Varis CF bonnet to buy and fit aerocatches to. Need to replace/have bodywork done to rear bumper to remove horrible foglight placement. Need to buy little rear number plate hooks to limit the size of rear plate to import only as had to fit a UK square rear due to police hassle which has consequently scratched the recess as it has to be forced to fit.
