  1. lmao post of the year for sure
  2. Well its worth checking as most that aren't rebuilt by now are on the verge of failing if not already. Easy enough to check just like tyre pressures, i like to start with the easy fix first, just hold the back of your hand close to the wheel near each caliper without touching it and see if any are hotter than the others I've never had an NA but my BPU TT if i drove fairly sensibly was great on fuel and do 25 mpg no problem. If i really drove in fuel saving mode it would do 30 mpg but not with flat tyres or sticking calipers which i suffered once when a rear seized.
  3. Check all your brakes incase they're begining to seize up, also check tyre pressures
  4. Take the bottom hose off the rad, put a bucket under it to catch the coolant, then try flushing it through with a garden hose. Does your heater blow nice HOT air on max hot setting ?
  5. Its not had something go through the intercooler has it ?

    Introduction!!!!!:)

    !!!!!!!!!!! Indeed Welcome
  7. Maybe fitting a slightly smaller restrictor ring is the answer, say at 0.9 to 1.0 bar then use the bc to raise it to 1.2 or whatever you want
  8. The classified advert is gone but it was exactly the same as it was on here, link below http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?275693-Black-UK-TRD-Widebody
  9. My car was a UK spec auto 94 L reg with 136,000 on the clock and valued at £13k on the insurance. Mine sold for £10k in April and had shed loads of receipts & history for everything ever done to the car from day 1
  10. If the system has air in it it will boil much more easily so this could be your problem, if its not the rad cap then it could have a leak somewhere which will let coolant out but also as it cools let air in. Get the system pressure tested which is easy for a decent garage to do and a sniff test on the coolant to check for exhaust gases, also easy and cheap to do. The pressure testing is in the coolant pdf page CO-18 CO.pdf

    Winters coming

It was fine, never had any issues with it and it fitted pretty well after i'd moved one of the straps, i just used extra straps to make sure it couldn't go anywhere.

    Winters coming

I have the Halfords xl cover which fitted on my TRD widebody very nicely, i modified the straps though as they were inline with the wheels, i also have some extra straps to go with it. £30 + postage and its yours
  13. If your renewing with them your not new business
  14. Oh dear The expansion tank should be between the min & max level, the coolant is forced out of the system when it gets hot (higher pressure) and drawn back into the system as it cools (lower pressure) Replace your rad cap for a stock o/e one would be the first thing i'd do Don't use tap water to fill the coolant system, use coolant (Ethylene glycol based) Coolred or Forlife from Toyota
  15. You have to be careful with Admiral and others like them as they go on book value and if the worst happens you'll have to fight to get a decent payout
  16. They just quoted me £300, 52 yrs old, 10 yrs ncb, no points, no claims or accidents over 25 yrs, only social use of 4k per year
  17. Are they still covering supras, i thought i read on here they weren't anymore
  18. Its bonkers, my uk tt on agreed value of £13k with lots of mods used to cost me £300, ins comps want £500 for a stock NA valued at £3k its laughable to say the least Try Sky and see what they come up with
  19. Is your car an NA or TT ? I went on confused to see how much a stock NA would cost me and the cheapest on there was over £400, that was with no points, 10 yrs NCB, 52 yrs old, in a good postcode. I've just re done this and its now over £500 for me to insure a stock NA valued at £3k lmao
  20. Yep not too bad a good enough for winter wheels
  21. While your under there have a good look at the cross member as they're prone to rotting quite badly
