  1. I still don't understand the need to fit an oil catch can tbh, but that's a nice neat install mate
  2. HKS manifold, 264 cams, RS*R exhaust... B16F84BB-FC0A-4A01-AE5D-F5F331B046B1.MP4 730D1972-979F-4FC3-B8CF-8969B780F8D9.MP4
  3. I find the correct profile of 35 on a 275 rear is better for handling, less tyre roll when pushing it in corners hard.
  4. I'm with you, I think they are genuine Toyota UK facias
  5. Now I'm no Chris Wilson, so please don't quote me on this lol But I once was told the reason it kicks the same way all the time is because the drive shafts from the diff to the wheels are different lengths on either side. No idea if that's the reason, but just throwing it out there lol
  6. That profile size is too big mate for a 275 it's a 35 profile.
  7. If you want the contact of the Swedish guy who wanted to pay £1200 for my active spoiler, then PM me and I'll send you his details. I wasn't willing to ship to Sweden, but he has a sister in London.
  8. I think that's a great way to enjoy it, and what I decided to do with mine, after all I'm a lifer, so the value is sort of irrelevant tbh I changed the setup to a single to suit what I use the car for. Also a well built single car with good parts and good builders behind it go for big money too, so it's not just stock cars selling and fetching good money.
  9. Active spoiler, with ECU and dash switch are going for £1200, I actually pulled out of a sale of mine for £1200, because as Frank says the prices are only going one way, so I'm sitting on my pile of parts for awhile.
  10. Keep the charcoal filter, you don’t want the smell of petrol fumes in the cabin
  11. I personally wouldn't bother, and I haven't on my build. Instead I've run the cam cover breather right to the rear of the car, past the rear wheels just incase the worst happen. I've seen oil catch cans with a filter breather on mounted of the left hand side of the bay, quite near a hot turbo. I certainly wouldn't want any kind of oil vapour near a hot turbo.
  12. Thanks mate, it is a cracking bit of kit, even if I do say so myself lol Littlenums wasn't a built box no, but it was brand new box if I remember correctly.
  13. I think a brand new R154 is a great way to go. Littlenum use to run nearly 700 through his, and abused it like an animal ALL the time. So if it can take his abuse you will have no worries *If* I ever considered going manual that is what I'd do, not worth the risk on a second hand V160/161. I still prefer my auto box on flappy paddles though tbh, and its well into the 600's on a single turbo, and it's quicker than the manual cars lol
  14. Check with the car off, there should be a hot and cold level on the dipstick.
  15. That's not the power steering fluid getting too hot, that sounds to me like there's air in the system and the pump is cavitating?!? But it would be very noisy!?! I suggest you take it to someone who can investigate the whole steering system.
  16. Tbh I've run either over the years, regular oil and filter changes are more important. Not everyone uses the Lexus filter, it's just a little extra you can choose to do if you wish.
  17. It's the Lexus V8 oil filter, they've been used by Supra owners for years, I'm sure you've seen it before mate. Bigger filter, larger filter area, and allows more oil in the system. Toyota/ Lexus Oil Filters - 90915-20004
  18. That wouldn't overheat in that time with that little work. There's some else a miss here. You sure it was hot? And not just normal temp but full of air bubbles?
  19. I agree with you, I think OEM bushes are far better than poly bushes, but it all comes down to what people can afford to do at the time.
  20. Gary England does a lovely fibreglass one. I bought a new one from Toyota because it was before Gary started doing his, or I definitely would have gone with one of his.
  21. Contact Paul at TCB, he will be cheaper that Toyota. I believe that Greg @Sheefa just recently purchased a complete set of suspension components. You're going to have to increase your budget of £2k though, probably just under double that.
  22. It will handle like a dog, like a Tesla does, due to all the extra weight, but Americans don't care about that as they mostly interested in straight line drag racing.
  23. Ah right, Littlenum use to have one fitted to his old Supra, which had a 1JZ and an old tech ECU, so that's probably why too then.
  24. Well you did ask for a manual tacho, and it is rare they come, you gotta pay to play mate! lol If you're not anal about it being fully OEM, you can just buy dial fascia's. @JamieP bought some pretty good ones recently for his converted NA auto.
