  1. I know you're all seasoned and experienced Dragonballers by now lol So I'm sure I don't need to remind you all to fill up with fuel the night before we set off in the morning Here are the nearest Shell V-Power and Tesco Momentum 99 to the Premier Inn: Shell, Whitecross Rd, Hereford HR4 0DG https://goo.gl/maps/4AKCT7T8d7sQuPHU7 Tesco Stores Ltd, Abbotsmead Rd, Belmont, Hereford HR2 7XS https://goo.gl/maps/LB3CL9Vn1GoLPnAu5
  2. There's on on Facebook for sale, €500
  3. For the price of £1600 I'd go for the SRD one, as I've seen them in the flesh and chatted to Ash (who makes them) about them for a good while when I've been down at SRD. A lot of work and development has gone in to them to make them a 'fit and forget' item.
  4. Littlenum ran one of these for years, so you'll be fine mate Be careful who you buy your fuel lines off, a set that's sold is too long. What ECU you going for? Sheefa has just put a Syvecs S6 up for sale, or you could go a brand new Link G4x for the same money. No real difference in ECU's these days, but I'd imagine the Link G4x is now more advanced tbh. But as you know it's best to go with what your mapper recommends
  5. I presume we are stopping after each stage, Branners did the routes, I just converted them for the tomtom's. So at each stop, just load up the next route. Edit: I've checked with Branners and yes, at the end of each route it's a stop, including the McDonalds wee wee stop he says Lol
  6. Have you tried to book a room today? There may be some left? No meal during the day, but people will be eating together at Mollies, or there's a Miller & Carter close by.
  7. Update: I tired the TomTom Go app on the Apple CarPlay last night on the headunit. It doesnt show the menu option for 'My Routes' on the headunit. You can open them on the phone and selct the custom routes, and it will then start the route guidance on the headunit. So it will work, but the other thing I found was I cannot run Waze at the same time on split screen. So I'm sticking with TomTom in my eyeline on the dash, Waze on the headunit screen giving me audible warnings of police etc... and split screen BBC Sounds app for radio.
  8. I've just paid for another month and yes I can confirm the custom routes have shown up in the TomTom Go App I may try it with my AppleCarPlay on the new Kenwood head unit, but I do find it a pain having to look down at it, where as the tomtom satnav is in my eye line. I do run waze on the head unit for the police alerts etc... But prefer a satnav to be a satnav, if you know what I mean.
  9. Here are the links to the routes on Google Maps: DragonCol 2021 Route 01 - Premier Inn to Elan Valley Visitors Centre https://goo.gl/maps/JnBLLNhnsz7EcrQi7 Route 02 - Elan Valley Visitors Centre to Lauras Diner https://goo.gl/maps/WQox9zH75RtaDHfN7 Route 03 - Lauras Diner to McDonalds Aberdare https://goo.gl/maps/HamFz5aKhTogWFZk7 Route 04 - McDonalds Aberdare to Bwlch Mountain https://goo.gl/maps/K64yvWvSbrAZsJAM7 Route 05 - Bwlch Mountain to Mollie’s Hotel & Diner https://goo.gl/maps/sjii5aT7wX9p5Xhj7
  10. Here is the interactive pdf kindly created by @ellis Dragoncol Routes Interactive.pdf
  11. Yep that's a good cheap way to do it mate
  12. We tested it last week on the google maps app, and it doesn't work mate. The google map app re-routes it to the quickest route. TomTom is the only way to go for custom routes.
  13. Oh and if you haven't used your TomTom in awhile, make sure you give yourself some time this week to plug it in and update it via your pc. There's been a big map update recently.
  14. TomTom GPX files (New model TomTom GO's) On your PC Download the zip file and unpack it. There will be 5 files in there, each between 51kb and 310kb. Again still on your PC, log into TomTom MyDrive with your TomTom account https://mydrive.tomtom.com/en_gb/#+viewport=52.5253,-2.02268,13,0,-0+ver=3. Then on the left of the screen go to 'MY ROUTES', you will then see an option at the bottom of that panel to 'IMPORT A GPX FILE'. Import each of the DragonCol routes until all 5 routes are showing. You may need to rename each route after you import it, but this is easily done by copying and pasting the name from each of the files you unpacked earlier. Turn on your satnav and log into your Tomtom account, you will find this under the 'TomTom Services' icon. Connect your TomTom via smartphone Bluetooth tether or to your PC via USB. Once connected it will sync with 'My Drive' and the routes will start to appear in 'My Routes'. Then, once on DragonCol, at the start of each stage after we've had a rest stop, you load up the next route file, let it plan the route and off you go. Dragoncol 2021 TomTom Routes.zip
  15. Just sorted mine Monday, stayed with Lynbrook as I've always had a good experience with them £437 for the year, with a value of £50,000. Two additional drivers (both forum members) one with a recent accident this year, so that bumped it up more than usual. They have never charged any extra for arranging European cover for when I take the car across Europe once or twice a year, Sky years ago use to charge me an extra £75 each trip! So very happy with Lynbrook as usual
  16. Afternoon shitlords! Last chance today to get your tickets!
  17. Well done mate It goes to show that it doesn't matter that it was originally an NA and converted and modified, it has no bearing on the price and is the same as original cars at the moment Which is great to see.
  18. Just a reminder, the last day to purchase your tickets is Saturday 4th September, as I will be bulk buying our tickets from the Yakushi show on Sunday
  19. Wile has kindly lent us a marquee for the event, which I picked up from Cornwall the weekend. The new fire pit arrived the weekend, which Branners has kindly said the club will pay for So can I ask all of you to please bring a bag or two of hard wood please, as the fire pit comes with a grill which we can keep going in the day for people to cook lunch/dinner on as they wish Is anyone else interested in joining the club stand? Either for the weekend or just Saturday? As I need to advise the Yakushi show organiser of our required stand size.
  20. Don't wax oil the sills/box sections if you are spraying the car mate!
  21. Weekend camping paid list 1. Burna 2. Mark 3. Alex West 4. David West 5. Ben Roberts 6. TrickTT 7. Clay 8. Mel 'Saturday Only' vehicle display 1. Mk4Gaz
  22. That's great to hear mate! Looking forward to seeing you again after such a long time!
  23. You've just answered it for yourself mate.
