  1. After my girlfriend took the picture to get the reg of the lorry she has sent an email to the Eddie Stobart Transport Company. Thought some of you might be interested in seeing it so I pasted it below. To: '[email protected]' Subject: Bullying Dear Sirs I am writing regarding an incident that took place on Sunday 13th February at approx 10:45, involving an Eddie Stobart driver (W198 ORM/ET4650) and a Toyota Supra (J5UPR). We were traveling on the M42, between junctions 10 – 11 heading north, in a convoy of Supra’s (as we were going to Donnington Park for a meeting). Approx 5 of the 10 Supra’s had overtaken the driver in question, when with no indication or apparent reason, this driver swerved into the outside lane behind his colleague to block our path. As we were traveling at 70 mph and the driver I presume was traveling at the restricted 56 – 60 mph, caused the car behind him to break sharply which could have resulted in a serious accident. The driver made no attempt to overtake his colleague and stayed in the outer lane for approx 2-3 minutes. The driver of the Supra was incredibly distressed by this and although illegal, he decided to undertake the lorry to get passed him as he was not sure what his intentions were. As soon as he was halfway passed the lorry, the driver swerved back into the inner lane with no indication and almost caused the driver of the Supra to crash into the bridge barrier. If it had not been for the performance brakes that are fitted to this type of car, I fear that yet again, your driver may well have caused a serious accident. I was extremely shocked by the driver’s actions as I have been a member of the fan club for 2 years and have been a fan for many years. I was excited at seeing 2 Stobart lorries’ together, however, this soon turned to anger at the malicious intent of the driver. I would also like to point out; that my father has been a HGV driver for over 40 years and I have been raised to understand and appreciate a lorry driver’s manoeuvres and in this instance, cannot defend your driver’s actions at all. I hope you will investigate this matter further, as this is not the kind of image I believe your company would like to portray. I would also appreciate a response from you to advise of any action taken. Thank you in advance, Yours faithfully Joanne Hart Eddie Stobart Membership Number 54693
  2. ROFL! Dam wish I'd thought of that Very Nice.
  3. Eddie Stobart driver seemed to lose his mind and tried to wipe out a Supra just before this was taken. Had to be seen to be believed! Silver Supra giving him a taste back lol
  4. Ok thawed out enough now to post some pics. Big thanks to Ray for sorting such a good day and good to meet so many Supra lovers. Can't wait until the next one.

  6. [quote name=jonshaw_uk what specs are your pc Burna?[/quote] It's been a year since I built it so I tell you as much as I can remember: Intel Pentium 4 2.6ghz 800FSB SKT478 512k Sapphire All In Wonder Radeon 9800 PRO 128MB ( Can capture just havent bothered yet ) 2 x Crucial 512 DDR400 PC3200 CL=3 Memory Module Motherboard, ASUS P4C800 SKT478 SATA 8x AGP 800 FSB DDR400 Memory, Sound,LAN Intel Hyper-Threading Samsung SpinPoint P80 160gb SATA Hard Drive TRUST 5.1 Optical Sound Card Itemd listed below are from http://www.quietpc.com/uk/index.php as I wanted it real quiet for the living room. Super Flower Cooler P4 S478 CNPS7000-ALCU AcoustiCase C6607B Black Super Midi Tower 2 x AcoustiFan: 120mm Case Fan, Temperature Sensi Q-Technology Ultra-Quiet ATX PSU 350W, 120mm Gyration Ultra Cordless Optical Keyboard and mouse ( Very nice bit of kit ) Runs like a dream, the only thing I would say is that im considering putting another Spinpoint 160GB hardrive in to boost storage space because capturing can suck up space faster than a TT can petrol! Also I get my broadband (for internet and downloading with DC++ etc...) to the pc by wireless from a linkysys wireless router located by the desktop pc upstairs. I think I've covered everything, let me know if you need any more info Burna
  7. Good to hear i'll be welcome, wont be a Nova, upgraded to a yellow 3 wheeler Don't worry 2 Supra's coming Burna.
  8. Couple of questions, Can you put my name down as a maybee, and is this meet only open to members of the forum because the brother-in-law has a Supra and I was going to ask him if he wanted to come along, thought I'd check with you guys first. Thanks in advance, Burna.
  9. Built one a year ago, still running fine, in fact I use it more than my desktop pc at home now. Are you also going to use it for downloading movies? If you've got a 5.1 sound setup alot of films have it encoded with them now. If you want any help or advice just ask me, I could run through every single option you could go for but each system is personal preference. Movies, music and internet is mainly what mine is used for, got a capture card ATI Radeon 9800 pro installed but still havent bothered to setup the system as a hard drive recorder. Burna.
  10. Thanks for the warm welcome and especially al the helpful advice! Definitely going to contacting Chris Wilson soon to discuss a service, certainly put my mind at rest where I could take my Supra to get checked over I'm near Stourbridge, I looked at the messages about the midlands meet this weekend and never knew there were so many Supra owners so local! I also noticed that the guy you have recommended 'Lovatt' is going along to the midlands meet, I sure need to ask him a question about what he could do about removing some horrible looking plastic protector strips that someone had 'wisely?!!?' stuck all the way down both sides of the Supra! I guess they are meant to protect the panels from ppl opening doors against them in car parks, but my suspicious mind tells me that they may have been stuck on to hide a bad scratch or something. Planning on coming along to the midlands meet this weekend if I can manage to get up that early after Saturday night lol. Have I got to put my name down or contact anyone or what? If I do make it you will recognise my car by the number plate and mainly by those crappy looking black strips stuck down the side of my black Supra, just plz don't take the piss out of them too much lol, I'm well aware how they look Burna.
  11. Thats what happened to me! Scared me half to death when it I pulled out in front of a double decker bus and they car seemed to go on strike lol. Glad to hear the problem is quite normal Burna.
  12. Sounds good, when and where. I'll do my best to make it, weekends have been hectic lateley tho. I'll even try and get the brother in law to bring his UK TT Manual along Burna.
  13. Hi all, Just recently joined as a member so I thought I would introduce myself. I bought a Supra at the end of November 2004, UK Twin Turbo Auto Black un-modifed. It is the best thing I have ever bought! Just wish I had done it years ago. Never thought a car could be so much fun to drive, but I have learnt even with traction control it does bite back lol. I live in the West Midlands and was hoping someone could tell if there is garage that someone can recomend that know all about working on a Supra as I have been told just because it is a Toyota doesnt mean that the guys at the local Toyota dealership are going to know how to work on a Supra, how true this is I don't know, was hoping you guys could educate me a little The car has done 80,000 what does anyone suggest I get checked or changed to keep the car in top condition. The only problem I have got is a fair amount of moisture in the front headlights, does anyone know if these can be resealed by a company or do I just have to buy new ones? I have seen Envy do them cheaper than Toyota. Ok as you can see I have all the questions but no answers lol, so any help would be appriciated thanks. Burna.
  14. Hi, Just joined as a member and I've been reading some alarming posts about a supra scam on ebay! The guy seem to be using the details from the ebay supra that I bought back in the end of November 04. Sounds as if he robbed the description from the ebay auction too! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=18290&item=4504354501 The reason the reg mentioned above checks out as it does is because the guy I bought it off had transferred his plate off the Supra onto a MR2 Ferrari Replica which he bought hence reason for the Supra sale, I know which car I rather have lol. Very strange reading that the car on my drive was for sale as a scam! Just checked the camera to make sure it's hasn't pegged it to Italy Hope this sheds some light on things for you guys. Burna.
