  1. I know but my point/question is, if the ECU is Fed a narrowband signal from an LM-1 wideband, and the heater circuit is either left connected or disconnected, won't the ECU throw up a fault code or run in closed loop?
  2. John, i have been thinking of doing this, but if the ECU monitors the heater circuit of the original O2 sensor won't that cause fueling issues? and if its disconnected other than the simulated O2 input to the ECU, won't this also cause problems? Also what you said about the wideband location, i'm still debating on where to put mine, as on my last car it was a good 2-3 ft from the turbo but i still got bad overheat errors until i fitted quite a substantial heat sink!
  3. Two words about that place, DON'T BOTHER! i had a look at the TT with the Volks wheels, and its defiantly had a shunt! panel gaps where all wrong, and the more i looked the more i found:( so i quickly walked away!
  4. Has anyone who is using this, or any other for that matter, used the simulated narrow-band output to feed the ECUs O2 sensor input? and have you found it to work OK?
  5. Nice wheels, shame they won't go over!
  6. Thanks:) thought it might be oil change, don't suppose that anyone would know if the one on the cam belt cover is actually a cam belt change? i doubt it can be enhanced enough to actually read it but it may ring a bell? unfortunately its been removed at some point! http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid202/p2d7cb2ce661d82678a18a078581144a2/efb7328e.jpg
  7. Is this BIG brakes? or UK spec?
  8. Yeah i've been through that scenario on both my s13 and s14:( both snapped a stud! had to drill out and just stuck a bolt through, and one of them i had on a lift and had a torch to get it nice and hot first! think i will take this to an exhaust place and get them to do it, at least they will have ever thing on hand should anything break.
  9. Thanks a lot Matt:thumbs: where any of the nuts hard to shift? or any studs break? and hows it feel, just the first cat? or have you got the other one?
  10. Ahh right! i didn't think the klms could be swapped over to miles, so in that case if the odo is in miles then the sticker is right!
  11. Thanks Matt:d can you post them up?
  12. As it says! just had a good look at a sticker on my drivers door shut and i'm a bit puzzled, as its calling the mileage displayed a liar! the reason i'm trying to get to the bottom of it is cos when i brought the car from Jurgen, he said that he thought the car had come in with 63k mls which would back up whats on the door sticker! but i thought that the Supra klm display couldn't be adjusted to mls?? just the speedo and the way it clocks up after conversion? can anyone clarify??
  13. Been driving around for the first time with the windows down, and i know that clutch/gear change noise is common, but mine is quite clunky! maybe i'm being picky but on changes from first to second and even third! and back down again makes quite a distinct clunk/clank! and also when declutching when coming to a junction etc also does the same when going on and off the throttle (gently!) in low gears, is this normal?
  14. I did in the end, someone knocked me up an agricultural spanner which did the job but scratches the wheel so i will have to find another in plastic!
  15. Yeah i agree! just that decat and other bits are more important than cosmetics right now! i will either get some clear ones, or change the front when i have some spare cash;) Oh and where can i get clear side repeters from?
  16. Thought i would make the most of the good weather, so i gave the car a bit of a polish! came up quite well i thought:) http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid202/pd7fe4eb95223c710b844b26268e483bc/efbc7a5b.jpg http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid202/p6a5db48ebec751158d621def05acac5b/efbc7af8.jpg http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid202/p78f684555d987224be4bd5f425af7ae1/efbc7945.jpg http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid202/p6278f1ba0e78b9e74946e1bc2844d29a/efbc78cc.jpg
  17. Going to bump this again, and see if anyone else or Ian C has any more ideas?
  18. Thanks for the pics:thumbs: quite a lot of space then! also saves me starting to fit the decats and having to stop and weld in a bung, now i can just pic my spot and get it done before hand:) That cable looks a bit close to the propshaft:blink: how someone cable tied it out the way!
  19. I went for a Wifbitz decats as price was a high priority at the moment, having spent all my cash on the Supra;) and they don't have a bung, or i would have probably used that, so i wouldn't need to ask, i take it that there are no Clerence issues mounting it at 9 o'clock or 3 o'clock?
  20. Question for all who have LM-1 etc fitted, where have you mounted your sensor? first or second decat? and have you had any overheat problems? also is there enough space for the sensor to go anywhere on either side of the pipes 3 O'Clock position, with out the risk of fouling body?
  21. Same here! can't see an option in user CP??
  22. Thanks for that:) gives me a slightly better idea of the room i have, but i would still like some more images if anyone has some?
  23. Thanks for the tips guys:) have to try the planks and/or jack up the diff, can one side only be jacked up using the sill lift points with a pair of trolley jacks without causing damage, if i use a couple of wooden blocks? got to do my decat and oil change some how!
  24. Anyone have any other ideas for getting the dam thing in the air without having to take off the undertray first? if thats possible?
  25. Anyone? did a search but found nothing! but i'm sure i have seen a pic some time ago!
