  1. errr just a little:rolleyes:
  2. Well after a tentative look under the car, only had it jacked up enough to have a look and spray the nuts with releasing fluid, i couldn't resist trying a socket on one of the nuts, and found that the only way i'm going to do it without any problems is on a ramp with a wobble socket! just cant get the angles without:( also found that the nut & bolts on the first to second cat are a bloody silly size!! if you try a 14mm spanner on them it will round them off! and its to large for a 13mm! so it looks like that's one job i had planned for the weekend will have to wait until i can get it on a mates lift! oh well that leaves flushing the cooling system and fitting the fuel pump! so now i won't have enough excuses not to get the garden sorted!
  3. I am inclined to think twats like that are best avoided, if i can't leave them way behind, i slow down or pull over and let them go, winding them up although good fun tends to make them more determined to prove what wonderful drivers they are:rolleyes: and go on to kill you or some other unfortunate! for instance i was taking the wife to a hospital appointment, and driving in a 30 on a two track road with cars parked up one side, an i find i have an idiot in a golf stuck to my bumper making like he's going to overtake:rolleyes: as there is only enough room for one car! so i just indicated and pulled over, and made sure he saw me mouthing w***er as he passed! what is wrong with these people?
  4. I have kept my RAC recovery going for years, and only ever used it once, and that was just after i joined, got myself towed to a garage brought an alternator pulley and fixed it myself, but i would have been stuffed if i hadn't got a tow!
  5. Yeah i tried this http://www.supraforums.com/forum/sho...adrest+removal the other day, and i still can't shift the buggers!
  6. Heres a pic of the body of the damper, as i said no distinguishing marks! http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid204/pdc92aee1308a5d192c4fd9f1f8394815/ef7c32b5.jpg
  7. Not sure how true this is, phoned my local motor factors (Partco) and asked for prices for my BPU, BCPR7ES no problem in stock, BKR7E being discontinued! and when i asked for platinum equivalents can't remember the letters? they said that platinum plugs where also being discontinued!???
  8. Just to reiterate, if you are considering water injection, don't think you can just add a pressure activated WI system and expect to see instant performance gains! it certainly won't do any harm! but in order to extract real gains you will need to be able control timing and fuelling, and ideally use an Aquamist system that can also be mapped! the 2C is ideal for use with the blue Emanage as you can use the sub injector output to map water injection along with being able to control the ing and fuelling, but remember you will need to use some sort of water flow detection and preferably a way to at least cut boost should a water blockage, shortage occur! or you could be looking at a rebuild:(
  9. Please jump in if you have any ideas at all:search:

    Warranties

Can't they use any modifications that are done as a get out? so you have had so and so done which therefore voids the warranty! so making them totally useless if you buy a modded Supra or mod it yourself.
  11. I'll try and take a pic tomorrow, but the last time i looked there where no markings on them, and they look normal not hight adjustable.
  12. Anyone care to hazard a guess?
  13. Been meaning to post these pics up, in the hope that someone can identify so i may be able to get something to adjust them with! the car was imported with them, and they are obviously electronically adjustable but the controller was not in the car:( and now i have done some fast driving over some err somewhat bumpy roads i feel the need to adjust them! i presume the rears are the same , but i will need to get under the Sound Garage install to find them! http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid204/p32211e0f04b237b9f70ea22c0e314720/ef83cfdc.jpg http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid204/pe6ed22c36c579aea9fe413c69c626b8d/ef83cf92.jpg
  14. TBH i'm not sure, i get mine from a model shop, the stuff without any additives, you only need a 20% mix so 5lt will last for ages, tip you will not gain anything by adding more, at more than 30% you will actually start to detract from the effects of using water injection, take a look on the water injection forum.
  15. Doesn't do any harm, just not that great for getting the crud of the screen, a small tank is also not a great idea, i could get through a 4.5 lt tank in 300mls with a .8 jet only working after 10psi!
  16. Thats what i meant, the std washer bottle, used this on my s14.
  17. LOL yeah looks like the best option! if i can get bright enough bulbs!
  18. Can you not just use the std one? think thats what i'l do.
  19. Been looking at ultaleds and i have a cunning plan, need to wait for Robert to get back to me but as the fogs take H3 bulbs i am thinking of gutting the holder and replace the bulb with an amber led 7440 if its bright enough.
  20. Just had a look at the foglight and i don't think a 21w indicator bulb will fit, are there any high power amber bulbs that are smaller?
  21. I like the clean look, and besides i want to get rid of those dam great MR2 indicators.
  22. So the options are, convert the fogs to take a 21w amber indicator bulb, as front fogs are not an MOT requirement, or convert the fogs to side lights and use the sidelights as indicators, but i don't think the 5w bulbs will be bright enough.
  23. So whats retarded about relocating the indicators to the headlight, like most modern designs?
  24. Has anyone thought of or done this? toying with the idea myself, thought it might clean up the front.
