Wouldn't normally recommend Halfrauds, but they're batteries have either 3 or 5 year guarantees. We had problems with a battery that was a good couple of years old and they swapped it for a spanky new one - no questions ! Just don't lose the receipt, I was STUNNED I hadn't lost mine Matt

I know exactly what colour I'm doing mine next year, but do you think I can find the paint codes ?!? Apparently, the paints are produced by BASF for Saleen exclusively. I admit sheepishly that I saw the colour on 2 Fast 2 Furious, however - it's a fappin' gorgeous colour and will be mine I was gonna go Candy, but the cost is horrendous and it isn't practical if you're gonna use the car regularly as matching is a nightmare. The plan is : Add the Veilside Overfenders, eyebrows and rear bumper to my C1 skirts, nose and wing. Then full respray in the above Saleen Lizstick Red (IF I can find the paint codes). I know the Veilside kit is common, but you don't often see a Supe with the FULL kit inc. overfenders\rear bumper etc. I think it'll go loverly with my wheels too Matt PS. I assume £47k includes all the work to ensure that the car is reliable for 'say' 100k miles in order to retail them with a warranty. But even so, £47k ?!? No chance. And that lag looked pretty horrendous, I have a 2litre MR2 with a hybrid CT26, has a large T4 compressor wheel and a trimmed turbine, yet full boost is by 4000rpms at the very latest. Maybe they've oversized the turbo so that it's not as stressed as much as a smaller one, and then almost tuned it down to 400bhp ? I don't know, just guessing - but to sell a 2litre car producing 400bhp out of the showroom with a warranty can't be an easy task. How pissed would you be if you're £47k Evo went bang every 10k ! Cheers dude, I'll definitely have to come have a chat with you. I will be changing some of the bodykit and having a full respray next year. My car is red and I will be staying with red, but a totally different one and I will need the engine bay doing too. (If I can find the paint code that is - it's proving difficult !) I assumed it was engine out, but that's a lot of work surely ! And two seperate trades. Doesn't this add disproportionately to the respray costs ?

Roughly how much extra is having the engine bay done ? I will be getting a full respray next year, and so was wondering about this the other day Is it an engine out job ? So if a full windows out respray is 'say' £2,500, how much extra for the engine bay ? Cheers Matt

Does LPG have an octane level ? I, like many, use Optimax because it is nearer to the octane level my japanese car was setup to use. For all I know, octane levels maybe irrelevant for LPG, but just thought I'd toss this into the arguement Matt
