  1. A TT with leather, TV, 19" wheels and expensive paint job - for £7,500 It's not to my taste (understatement), but if it's straight up then it's a good deal. Matt
  2. You wont hear me argue. I really like the red, and would only have black as an alternative - but that's just me
  3. 30, and I don't like to talk about it
  4. Any small dogs round your way ? Understandable concern tho mate, you got ya head in the engine bay and you just can't see what's goin' on at your arse end
  5. Nice looking car mate And an ex-MR2 owner per chance ? Me too, well actually I can't bring myself to sell the '2 so I've still got it Enjoy it mate, they are awesome machines Matt
  6. I bought a new ITR from Honda in '98, and I loved it. Sure there were days when you wished for something quieter and not so 'right, lets race'. But then again, I loved it - a truly fantastic piece of engineering. A car you drove with your fingertips. The handling is spot on for a FWD car too, very neutral handling, predictable and surefooted. I still miss it and will have another. 197bhp out of 1800cc's normally aspirated is some engineering. I have also had (have) an MR2 mk2 Turbo, that was standard and is now far from standard. Very different beasts really, the MR2 is quicker but handling is not as finely honed as the ITR IMO. The day before I sold the ITR, I managed just shy of 140mph on an airfield (ahem), but I ran out of road. Again, not bad for 1800cc's !!! Way cool cars. Matt PS. Don't worry, I prefer my Supe to both the ITR and MR2

    Sad Day...

I personally have absolutely no problem with these chaps dressing up in funny outfits, getting a pack of dogs together, tootling their little trumpets and dashing off round the countryside admiring the scenery and exercising their horses. And if it keeps these huge poo producing animals off the roads I pay for then terrific. But I do have a problem with the hunting and mutilating of animals, hardly a 'sport' now is it ! And as for culling the animals that present a genuine pest problem, there are more humane ways. Besides, this is a bit of a lame argument really - if these hunts were there for the humane killing of vermin, they'd advertise in Yellow Pages and charge farmers £75 per call out and £75 per part hour there-after I've yet to see a reasonable arguement in favour of these hunts. The destruction of pack dogs is not a reason to keep the hunts either, these dogs are bred for the hunt and kept in poor conditions - not banning this simply perpetuates the cycle. I for one am pleased about the ban. Just my 2p Matt
  8. I wouldn't know where to start on a job like that
  9. Obviously 'Flamer Kits' are pretty nasty, but that would've been an ideal time to have one. 'Hmmmm, he's a bit close "BOFF" ah, he seems to have backed off'
  10. Looks good mate, I use the Meguiars 3 product thing - if only it was as easy as 1-2-3 Good results tho. Matt
  11. Er, kinda exactly what I was thinking - I was just being nice Spot on tho
  12. Tim used to own\run Japvillage in Horsham. I have had some dealings with him, and I wouldn't do so again. Also, if he says 700bhp - knock a fair few bhp's off of that figure
  13. Nah, it's in the car park next to Rykers cafe on the A24.
  14. Just checked the weather forecast, and it's looking like it'll be a sunny day ! Should be good
  15. Looks good mate, Red IS best Can't wait for the summer months when you can spend hours waxing\polishing and it's still spanky clean two days later - not too long now
  16. Oh hell yeah, every 3k - stupid not to. I thought the Supra had 10k service intervals ?

    Mpg??

I've got sod-all done today as it is
  18. I'm sure the previous owner of my car wont mind me using this pic, he's a friendly board member http://www.users.totalise.co.uk/~mshosier/MSHPerf/redsupraroad.jpg
  19. I bought my supe off of a forum member and without service history, simply because it was in cracking condition and all seemed as it should be. My Supe is now approaching 40k and I want to give it a damn good service and bring it inline with the 10k intervals, but I don't know who to get to do it. I have a heavily modified MR2 Turbo aswell as the Supe, and they guy that does all the work\tuning for me actually works for Toyota technical, and REALLY knows his stuff. He also charges me very reasonable rates and gets discounted Toyota parts to boot. I trust this guy with my car implicitly, but if he services it, I still have no service history. Alternatively, I could use 'say' Sussex Performance Cars to service the car, they will give it a service and a receipt showing work done. However, they are not Supra or Toyota specialists, and I don't know them from Adam. So I'm really in a quandary, service records will be helpful come resale, but the guy I use is great and will look after my Supra really really well. A deely of a pickle huh ? Any thoughts welcome ! Cheers Matt

    Mpg??

Average 15mpg here. PS. Anyone else find TerribleTurners avatar somewhat hypnotic
  21. I'll be completely honest, I've put induction kits on my cars for these reasons : 1) They sound great (IMO) 2) They look much better than the plastic box 3) I was misinformed about them increasing performance. A few years ago, I admit to buying a Vectra 2.6 V6 GSi. I sold it after four months because it was turd, but in that time I bought a K&N induction kit. Within a week I'd swapped it for a K&N Panel Filter, and the performance was much better. However, I really don't want to go back to that big plastic box in the Supra. So if this is not an option, what is the best air intake system ?
  22. Hi all, I was having a browse through the TDI website, when I came across this http://www.tdi-plc.com/Dawsons%20Supra.html That is one nicely modded Supra ! I know it's expensive but that twin HKS turbo kit looks the mutts nutts I'm curious to know what that car cost to make too, £20k ? More ? Matt
  23. I know the Veilside stuff is becoming more sneered at because it is a common choice. But basically, if it feels good - DO IT ! I currently have a C1 front bumper, skirts and spats. I've already bought the full rear bumper to replace the standard one with spats on. I'm also going for the Overfenders too, so I will genuinely have the FULL Veilside kit. I did think about the Do-luck nose as it is a good looker, but I'm going for Veilside big time. Jurgen sold a white Supe with FULL Veilside kit on it recently, and there's a couple of pics here http://www.jm-imports.co.uk/Supras/White%20SUP%20SZ-R%2095%20%20SPO/White%20Sup%2095%20SPO.htm I still think it looks All the best Matt
  24. Must admit to being a little disappointed by the lack of flames from my Supe. My very modded MR2 flames quite happily, and it is louder than you expect ! (Dont know what I expected from an explosion ) But then again, it's a bit more difficult to induce on an auto.
