    Powerflow Exhausts

Powerflow Pipe from Decat pipe to back box fitted byTurriff Tyres 3" last couple of years ago. Had one on my Cavvie SRi for years from them, never had a problem with either
  2. Have an Aeromotive AFR, not yet fitted, was going to set up pressure and just leave it, but can get a guage for it. I was thinking oil temp and pressure would be a must

    Petrol

Get better performance and consumption from Optimax, so always try and use it. Does go off quite quickly though, had major probs after my car was sitting a while whilst I was waiting on eye op
  4. Could some of you single owners let me know what all you monitor and what I should be "collecting" towards the conversion? I have a Boost Guage and AEM and was planning EGT guage
  5. If we made it a Group "buy"? B & B thrown in? Dinner?
  6. High probability there is no connection between the tyre fitting and the misfire

    MOT Question

Pre- 95 might pass without the Cat, regs change depending on age of car
  8. mine went through last week, nowt needed at all:)
  9. Was getting new tyres fitted today and one valve f***ed. Anyone any idea where I could get a valve(s) to fit a Kosei wheel. Hole in wheel just over 5mm. Stem of valve that goes through hole 5mm. Tried a motercycle valve but no go.
  10. spend plenty of time building up your experience and ability, reckon I spent a whole summer before I started driving it anything like it should be driven - but hey I still have it in one piece and its an even faster car now
  11. Over 4 years and the smile is still on my face. Watch it though it is not always forgiving when the back steps out on you and you have to do some pretty rapid work to get it straight again

    What a week

Congrats mate, both counts. I have two grandchildren and two MOTs on the way .... lol
  13. Really nice mate, good luck with it
  14. I have claimed a horn off an Astra van that a mate is scrapping. Much more macho than my gay one
  15. Mine boosted to 1.3 - 1.4 with much the same mods as you. Now have second de-cat and a 1.2 restrictor ring (as not quite ready to go single)
  16. Could try heating it in the oven see if I can stretch it 4 mm - lol. Looked out the order for the plate it was 44mm I asked for so have mailed the guy to see if he will meet me half way on a new one
  17. first of all a big 50metre tape and then a ruler at the police station (aren't you guys glad I am not on here asking for a whip round for bail money) Man am I p***ed off though
  18. Yep, mine looks dead standard, wel apart from being lowered a wee bit, and the big wheels, and the big exhaust, and the big brakes (and the BIG number plate)
  19. Good one mate, imagine it was very fiddley to do without taking needles off
  20. States on the DVLA site that they must be vertical?????
  21. Some of you may remember that I was p***ed at having to change my small number plate last year having had it for 3 years without a word being said cos it was illegal. I changed (eventually) to what I thought was the smallest legal import size. Now another year down the road and I have been hauled and told to change it cos the letters are 4mm too narrow, 40 instead of 44mm. The spacing is correct, letters and number correct, height correct, margins correct and it is the correct font. . To make matters worse he (the nice sargeant that he was) suggested the Supra would suit a nice sticky on number plate on the bonnet like a mate he has who works in a local garage. (Even more illegal as it is not vertical) Hohum, police are so busy in the north dealing with us criminals although there were 4 cars on the High Street (not a long street by the way) with non-standard or sticky on number plates on their Saxos and Corsas as I came home
