Yea, that might be good. Is ther any way of finding out which roads, what routes are limit free? And a bit of research in to the ferries might not go wrong, had major trauma with a 60mm lowered Cavalier SRi bellying out on a ferry, they were not concerned about the car, they just wanted it out of there. Certainly interested though

I ran about with a small m/c front plate for 3 years, then last year they started pulling me evey time I went on the road, now I have the smallest allowed for an import. They tried to say it was illegal but eventually got me to re-postion it because the law states it has to be vertical - hohum

I have been stopped a lot, more so in the SRi than in the Supra. Most times if you are polite to them they give you a ticking off and a warning and that is it. In my younger days I used to try to be smart with them, this is not the way to go but took me a wee while to learn it. Doed tend to rankle a bit when you are done for doing 80 on the dual carriageway, which some consider safe and the same evening you are watching the heros doing 60 -70 in the High Street

The moderators do a good job on here. They should have more input. One instance I can think of immediately is the "Title" under a members name. I took this at face value when I joined, if someone claimed to be "Experienced" or "Expert" I stupidly thought they were. There are people on here claiming to be these who in fact are less knowledgable than myself. Thank goodness I have sussed out who the knowledgable ones are
