  1. Yes, light pods sounds like a better word for it, lol. One of my pods is yellowed out. Is it possible to rectify? I do have UK headlights but I thought they were the same as pre-facelift with glass lenses?
  2. Do you have any prefacelift running lights mouldings? (clear ones that stick out of the bottom face) One of mine is very milky. Have you ever successfully polished them? Thanks, and very nice of you to offer bits for free.

    The MkV

LC500 in person looks the dogs bollocks. I can't wait for it to depreciate massively so I could afford one! Disappointed with the MKV being a BMW like most people. But I am sure it will be an absolute joy to drive. Based on Toyota's claims re the input in development, can you argue the Z4 is a bit toyota? If so the MKV becomes a tiny bit more attractive, right?
  4. I have also noticed that my lenses are perfectly clear when I have the car sat for a long time. But if I then use the car for a day they will fog up. It seems to me that the condensation already exists in the headlight housing and then the heat of the engine evaporates it. If it has nowhere to go it will fog the lens up pretty bad.
  5. Mine does it too occasionally. On UK spec glass headlights. I think the answer to that problem might be ventilation rather than trying to seal it off completely. In my experience the condensation will form anyways. If you have some sort of ventilation it will go away faster than having the light completely sealed off. Could be wrong but thats what I figured out with my car. Do a test by removing the plastic caps on a set you have resealed.

    2jz gte swap

How much in an aristo gte lump these days? If you are willing to sacrifice your ge engine you can swap over the sump off the supra to the aristo engine. Would this make sense or would it be better to sell the ge as a straight swap and then buy the sump? Not sure how much they go for.
  7. Merry Christmas all! Lets hope for a better year in 2021!
  8. Thanks for the replies guys. I decided to go with a set of LEDs that will definitely fit. https://www.carenhancementsuk.co.uk/collections/ford-fiesta-mk7-5/products/enhanced-edition-led-h7 The lenses are not yellowed at all. Being used to HIDs the light output of the halogens seemed very low to me when driving the car. It was improved with the osrams which were the high output type. cant remember the specs. But the life span is very short. I could probably get a replacement if I could be bothered to find the receipt from when I bought them, but hoping that the LEDs will be brighter and also last longer.
  9. I am using osram at the moment. Are the leds plug and play? I dont think the fiesta has self leveling but it has a manual dial.
  10. Merry Christmas to all. Sorry if this has been discussed before. I tried the search function, I promise. My fiancee has a mk6 fiesta (2013). It has the halogen lights (with projector), which are really bad. She primarily drives on a and b roads that are pitch black. I tried to upgrade them with extra bright bulbs but it seems like one of them gets burned out every six months or so.. I am tired of changing them out and they are not great anyway. What should I go for? HID? LED? are these any good? Any suggestions appreciated.
  11. You can fit either facelift or pre-facelift. Except if you want to stay original.
  12. GLWS I have this also and can say its an awesome upgrade for the na. More torque everywhere and you can rev to 8k which significantly changes the character of the car. You can now be in the torque range on gear shifts.
  13. Im very happy with my Lexus IS250 so far. Does a little bit of everything. Rear seats are not the most spacious in class and they wont fold but thats my only complain really.
  14. Man, we all are people and we make mistakes etc.. But this.. Its sad to see a supra in this state but no sympathy for the driver. Just glad no pedestrians were hurt.
  15. It looks great! Can't make up my mind about the decals..
  16. GLWS I like it. It's unique. Says 17k.
  17. The best green colour I have ever seen on a car (and think it would look incredible on a supra) is the Canepa green on the mclaren P1 GTR. Not sure if it would be possible to replicate. Interested to find out though..
  18. I would check for cars that have blue needles as OEM, and then search for gauges for these cars specifically. Usually aftermarket try to match the OEM style when they have a specific target market. ie VW vehicles. A quick search returned some APR gauges with blue needles and white letters.
  19. I agree that nothing really comes close. They also do a RV/car transporter project but it is still early stages. Also very cool. Some more recommendations: Recently I really enjoy the Hoonigan autofocus uploads, with Larry Chen. He shows off different projects. The videos from the trip to Japan are pretty epic. Another channel I watch is B is for Build. It is a lot more dodgy than BAM but some crazy projects. At the moment they are converting a 2017 (i think) Mustang to a classic Shelby GT body. Some times I cringe but I admire the attitude.
  20. Hi mate, out of curiosity, what manifold are you going for?
  21. They are tasty! Any pictures of them on a supra?
  22. Very nice! The oem bumper looks so much better. And the interior looks great.
  23. Mine never had one since I bought it, 5 years ago. Seemed fine but now the paint has been damaged on the centre of the bonnet. Will need to paint and get it insulated to future proof.
