  1. GLWS mate. What do you mean by LED conversion? Any examples? Just curious.
  2. For many. That's why you cannot buy one. never. All the allocations for the UK for all production (next 2 years) have sold. According to Toyota it only took 30 mins.
  3. The prices have slowed down recently but I don't think this is the peak of supra values. Keep it and get your self a nice ferrari when you sell it in a few years.
  4. I spent the weekend driven around in the back of a 435d convertible and was really impressed with the space. A limousine compared to the supra.

    Hi all!

Keron (Extreme Performance) Also very good for maintenance. Welcome to the club! Lovely Supra.
  6. Hello and welcome! If the current trend continues in 2-3years you might need twice this budget. Where are you in the UK? There are some recent examples of people buying tired/neglected supras for very cheap. I think managing to find something like that might be worth the LHD conversion but it is not going to be cheap. These days you pay a grand for a dash button, never mind the whole dash. If you are not planning to go back to Romania soon I would suggest you try and find a cheap one (most probably NA) and enjoy it while you are here. You are not losing any money anyway (assuming the current trend continues).
  7. Went through my emails. It's "Shiply" Make sure to read reviews for each quote and measure your car's ground clearance and overhang, so you can be sure it will go on the trailer without issues.
  8. Ive used a website in the past when I had to do th same thing. You give info on what you want to transport and when and people will send you quotes. Problem is.. I cant remember how it's called
  9. That is great mate. Sometimes we forget what is important. Out of interest, what are you thinking to replace the supra with? M3?
  10. Thank you both! I really wanted the K sports and I know they will fit, as I've seen them on JamieP's car, but 16 weeks is way too long.
  11. Apologies for the new thread. I know this topic has been discussed before, but I couldn't find any definitive answers. I ordered some new k sport front brakes but unfortunately it will be 16 weeks before they arrive. I am now considering going for UK spec fronts but I need to know if they will fit behind my wheels. My wheels are XXR 521 18" ET25. Anyone with the same setup?? Thank you.
  12. Congratulations! How fast did you get rid of those wheels?? For the hinges I would go to Keron (extreme performance). Maybe you can get some salvage ones for a good price. After the wheel change and the wash I think it does not look too bad at all.
  13. Great stuff! Awesome supra! I got to say though.. Lifting the car up on the gravel drive and getting under it seems extra risky.
  14. It will be in that finish. But I would think they have a solution for that? Maybe a different finish locally? Flock the top?
  15. Dont think Ive seen this one before.. Quite sick.
  16. Be mindful of the reflections! Looks cool!

    BBK front

Anyone looking to sell their big brakes? Change of plans? Further upgrade? Checking before I go and order some new ones. Thanks
  18. Welcome! The big brakes was an option on TT supras (jdm) and standard on EU spec supras. I would recommend OEM discs and Chris Wilson fast road pads for the small brakes. Some braided lines are always a good addition. Make sure you check the brake and fuel lines under the body before driving as they can perish with age rust etc..
  19. First time I see a supra with blocked brake vents. Not so sure about the value as LHD. A lot I suppose..
  20. One more thing to consider is the rate of increase of the value. For example, you agree the value today at 25K and you sign your contract for a year. In 9 months the market value of your car could be 35K. Touch wood something happens and the car is written off. The insurer will happily pay you 25K and you will be worse off than not having an agreed value (that you pay extra for).
  21. +1 I am not an expert, but my understanding is that you dont need to have an agreed value if you are going to go with the market value. That's standard. Of course the insurance company will try to f you over and pay less, but that is their job.
  22. I agree. It's just not enough to replace it. I assume the mods are declared? You can get a decent NA5 for say 25K in the UK if you can find one. To import I am not sure but I suppose you are looking over 30K. NA-T conversion with a Whifbitz kit, all supporting mods and ECU tuning.. 10K roughly? I can see in the avatar picture a ridox kit? Is this genuine? if so price can climb very fast.. Wheels? Any brake upgrades? It adds up.
  23. 25k is too low in my opinion.. nevermind 18k. If you look at the cost to replace its probably closer to 50K
  24. Got to say that I was never a big fan of the RC front end but it looks really good de-chromed! I think I prefer the L badge, but it's your car of course! Enjoy!
