  1. Just seen on the German Toyota page that Germany are getting 300 of the 900 Supra’s for Europe and can reserve them now. Seems a bit unfair
  2. *Able, how my auto correct on my iPad got that I don’t know
  3. Just seen on the Supra mk5 page on Facebook that the Germans will be able to put reservations on the new Supra on Toyota.de/Supra as of tonight at 8pm?! Is this true?
  4. I wanted something like this but I wanted to keep it stock looking and hidden, no rollcage to mount it to either
  5. Shouldn’t it be Toyota drawing round the Z4?
  6. Not interested until they bring out the GRMN. Hyped for that one
  7. Unless it’s the hose to the pressure tank then you still won’t get boost
  8. how can they be allowing media test drives when it’s all still in camo? Also the supra badge is in the wrong place
  9. Is this the same as the app?
  10. Sounds like you have no second turbo and your first is overboosting. Check all the hoses at the back of the engine, mine was the pressure tank hose that goes to the second turbo.
  11. From what I’ve been told £5k minimum seems to be what you should expect for a decent job. I too was hoping for less but that’s not the case
  12. Our speed limits are outdated. The whole speed camera ploy is money raising, it’s not about safety at all. It’s more unsafe to spend more time looking at your speedo than the road
  13. BMWs are overrated. As an owner myself I would say I won’t own one again, if I wanted a luxury saloon in future, I’d go Lexus.
  14. I think this will be the mid range model with a 3rd top spec model having either a better or Toyota setup.
  15. Have to agree, Vredestein are a good make
  16. I agree to an extent but I can also see others point of view as their expectation is a GTR competitor. I know this isn’t the case but that’s the expectation of a lot of people. I want it to look good and handle well. If it looks like the GR concept but road going, it’ll get a thumbs up from me. If it looks like a fat MX5 then I won’t be impressed
  17. If I remember correctly the engineers now are actually struggling with the same issues they had previously with the MKIV. As the management told the engineers you must use the same chassis as the soarer, which the engineers really really didn’t want to do. I very much expect this is exactly the same issue happening now. I bet the Toyota engineers would much rather make everything themselves from scratch. Make a drivetrain from scratch and blow everyone away but they can’t. I still think there will be at least one good iteration of this car. It’s just how much it’ll be that will set it apart.
  18. Yea I think that’s probably the reason. Annoyed me because last year the same garage passed it and I know for a fact that law hasn’t changed since. Can you tell I’m super bitter about it
  19. Well mine was failed for having no cats
  20. Liked the video! Glad some good questions got asked
  21. There is no non cat test. If a car has them from factory then it must have them in place regardless of emissions. Trust me mine failed due to this reason and I looked it up in the MOT manual. Yours passed (if it’s got no cats) because the tester decided to let it
  22. Wouldn’t even say no to that as long as it’s performance based.
  23. Honestly I thought Toyota would do what Nissan did with the GTR and redesign it all. New engine (V6 twin turbo wouldn’t be a bad thing), new chassis and interior but keep the name. Putting in a 2JZ is actually pointless, though I’ve no doubt it will get done. That’s what the MKIV is for, we need something new. I kind of feel they have conceded a bit too much on the prototype. Whether this is the engineers or managements decision, I’m not sure, but it’s pretty obvious almost all of the underneath of the car is bmw. Even some of the interior. If it’s just a reshelled Z4 it won’t be worthy of the supra name. However, I’m still personally hopeful that we will get something decent in some shape or form. Whether thats a road going GR race concept version or whether they will be bringing a higher powered version in the shape of the GRMN, either of those options would be interesting. The base spec 4 cylinder is clearly to maximise sales as I doubt any enthusiast is interested in that option. we should all be looking for the GRMN as that will tell us everything we need to know on release
  24. It’s a great club regardless of the forum aspect. Some great people I’ve had the privilege of meeting the last few years
