This is what concerns me. Eventually self driving cars will be mandatory. The best period will be self driving cars and normal cars on the roads at the same time. Due to the safety aspect of the technology I expect normal drivers will be able to “bully” the self driving tech.

Driven the new “supra” and it’s equivalent BMW and they are fast but honestly boring as hell to drive. The supra round welsh roads was an awesome experience this year. So involved and theatric on acceleration, Brakes well (unless you lock up like me lol) and looks great. I don’t think there’s any cars out now that don’t cost £70k plus that come close. Having a smooth graph may be good performance wise but it’s boring as fuck to drive. Not driven an electric car yet but willing to give it a try as long as you don’t try to sell me on the “green” aspect of it as I think that’s BS with current tech

Agree. This just shows you can slap a new body and badge on anything and people will lap it up. bad for the consumer all around really as we will continue to get lazy products with badges of classics slapped on them.

A lot of these parts can be remade (and are in the aftermarket) Engines and gearboxes cannot be, at least not without conversions or huge cost. They are the number 1 items without question.

Hi All, Curious as to whether anyone can figure this out? I have been looking for a facelift gear surround for a while but am yet to find one. I’m now thinking mines been repainted but not sure. Here’s my ashtray in a pre facelift surround. And below is a pre facelift surround with a supposed pre facelift ashtray but it doesn’t match Below is mine next to a pre facelift Is that normal facelift colour or not? Cheers

I don’t doubt that at all. I just think there are no surprises, as above, we already know it’s going to put down serious power. My problem is that they called it a Supra when it’s just another B58 platformed car. Even the chassis are all the same, just reeks of laziness and abuse of the badge. Ive no doubt It’ll be fast but it won’t be as reliable and it’s all BMWs platform so Toyota have nothing to be praised for [emoji2371]

Not sure why anyone is surprised, the M140i was already running those times with a remap and this is basically the same platform. You merely need to follow ANY B58 platform to see what this car will do so there’s nothing new to come i suspect

It’s got an electronic differential and it’s mid engined, so I doubt it’ll handle poorly. Also even if it did, at least it’s unique and not a reskin!

Yea much better proposition than the Zupra.
