  1. As lee says I used a little k&n filter on mine Also the mk3 and Cressida Toyota use same iacv
  2. http://www.willtheyfit.com/index.php?width=275&aspect=40&diameter=18&wheelwidth=9&offset=32&width2=265&aspect2=40&diameter2=18&wheelwidth2=9&offset2=0#content I use this
  3. Basically (0) offset is the centre of wheel=face of hub Anything + is where the wheel sinks under the arch and hub gets closer to the face of the wheel, (less poke) And anything - means the wheel sticks out further away from the hub face (more poke) Hope this helps
  4. Fitted 15mm spacers all round, flush fit now, trimmed and rolled my arches https://www.dropbox.com/s/z209bint2cdux4q/Photo%2010-11-2013%2002%2057%2029%20PM.jpg https://www.dropbox.com/s/weu2q7kqzk3m4rz/Photo%2010-11-2013%2002%2056%2034%20PM.jpg
  5. Think ill see if ibrar will strip and powdercoat my centres for me, I've heard the volks gtn are anodised but that there is an equivelant paint available
  6. Fearless has done an awesome Lexus v8 twin turbo conversion And he's an awesome bloke to boot
  7. I love making this kinda thing Only problem you may encounter is the first turbo overspooling unable to bypass enough thru the wg into a pressurised pipe that's feeding the second turbo A 60mm may be big enough Why don't you just do your own sequential tubular manifold setup?
  8. I've dropped him a message, cheers
  9. Hi, I'm looking to powdercoat my blitz 03 alloy centres in the same gold as I've seen used on volks gtn wheels Anyone happen to know the ral number or wotever you call it of that specific gold paint? I've sent a couple of messages asking this to a few alloy wheel redurb places but thought I'd ask here aswell
  10. Just as a test I'd run the pipe from the turbo directly to the wg If you've pressure tested the wg and it opens at correct psi then if you still have boost creep then it's down to the pipe diameter to the wg not sufficient
  11. Why is the brake vac pipe disconnected? I take it the spring is intended for that specific wg? You have a decent pipe from the intake side to the wg? Maybe bypass the boost controller altogether for a test and run a decent size pipe from the turbo pressure side to the wg and see if that stops the boost creep If not , remove the wg spring so it's effectively gonna be wide open and see if the bypass pipework is capable if flowing enough to stop the turbo over spooling (I doubt at such low pressures this is the problem, usually only occurs nearer 1 bar)
  12. This forum has some really amazing, helpful friendly selfless people It's always a pleasure to meet and be around Top job chaps, wile e coyote you were like a whirlwind on the roof with buster whipping the old sections off It was a hive of activity in amongst talking about supras Real pleasure to be there to help Steve and Shirley
  13. Your wheels look awesome, you've done a great job mate Really set your car off
  14. Great to see you all, and I had a fun drive back too Buster thinking deeply
  15. I've known people buy part worn or new potenzas cheaply online and when I pointed out the date coding to them they were surprised that they'd bought 8 year old tyres That had turned to plastic and were crap Also if the previous geo was silly and yours is correct then it would take a few miles of driving on dry roads to bed the tyre in and get a good footprint again
  16. Check the date code on the tyres, they're probably gone off old n hard I've always found the REO's to be excellent road tyres
  17. Sounds good, I ported and matched mine when I mated my NA runners to my TT plenum And it flows very well
  18. Pivot or not, anyone who has a brace, drive one front wheel onto a shallow ramp so only that front wheel is lifted up higher, then undue the bolt that holds the cross brace You'll be surprised, although not as good as a fully triangulated brace setup, they certainly aid stiffness across the turrets and help form a box Most stock suspension setups wouldn't really gain much from a brace really Look nice tho
  19. Glad to hear your getting better and your daughter Hope you recover fully mate, take it easy
  20. Not much left of 2013 And I feel I've achieved quite a bit But on my personal list of things are Develop and fit front (and possibly rear) aux air lift system to overcome speed hump scraping Make and fit custom undertrays Make and fit custom brake splash guards with ducts for cold air feeds Fit ap or brembo 6 pots Fit my custom plenum and 4" tb Re-fit qs valve with new ceramic bearings Engine dyno and trial tubular twin turbo setup (sequential dynamic) Fit syvecs Finish building up my built engine (circa 1k) Refurb strip/powder coat my blitz 03's , possibly cnc band the rears Fit veilside over fenders for wide body (riveted look) Get some bride or recaro buckets Develop more custom parts Drive and enjoy destroying rear tyres
  21. Probably trying to diagnose a weird clunking noise from my supra , put the car up on sturdy axle stands, started and put it into gear and crawled underneath to investigate , then the fun began as my hoodie sleeve caught on near side driveshaft and proceeded to undress me and rear my hoodie arm off Then thee was my first outing with my newly modded TT plenum , got to my fave stretch of road, planted the throttle and then panicked as the throttle stuck fully open , brown adrenalin moment (tb mechanism caught on tps wire) Also , fitting a bloody heavy v160 box , especially mated to a bigger osgiken triple clutch on your own with car on axle stands, having gearbox on your chest and "bench pressing" it into place whilst neighbours cat decides to "make friends" with you
  22. I shall be there for 10 And shall bring my socket set if needed?
  23. I call out all other NA-T guys
