  1. 6 Monthly meet in plymouth, anyone attending?
  2. Spoken with HSD direct as I thought it would save time. My warrenty has expired but they are offering to replace the damper for cheap as chips, half the usual price as failures are so rare. Pretty good service!
  3. Would it be a benifit using titanium components? I've seen a few sets of head studs and bolts made from 625 and (i think 825), was wondering if there would be any general benifit from peoples opinions on this. I've some grade 2 aero titanium lying about, was wondering maybe make some new toys and fleebay them?
  4. Got them from Whifbitz. Paid around £780 I think, including postage, can't remember may of been less. I haven't done 10k, let alone 100k. Not even done 10k in the car since I bought it.

  6. I've emailed them directly asking for advice. I fear the re-build or re-con costs may outway those options, was wondering if there are cheaper contract companies that repair such items. I've only had it for 12-18 months, only used on weekends she hasn't seen many miles, and I don't partically want coilovers to be a servicable item. It could just be my bad luck, and a re-build may give them another sprint of life for years to come, but I'm feeling negitive about the fact I paid a bit extra for what I was hoping wouldn't be a budget product
  7. Indicators have come out nice mate, never seen that done before and actually pull the look off well, I think you've cracked it. Clean car

  10. Chris Wilson would know about the rods. They are same NA and TT not sure about VVTi, even have the same part number apparently.

  13. Apart from having a tiny intercooler, I could definitely do with new piping and 3" could be the ticket. 4" intake system with a 4" exhaust system must make a huge difference on breathing compared to 2.5" both ends like I'm currently running.
  14. Good spot. Could you not of used reducers, the reduction in area just for entering and leaving the intercooler shouldn't of made a huge different, though 4" would of definitely been more efficient.
  15. I've never seen any intake pipes for turbo's ranging around 5", and also does anyone ever use anything larger than 3" intercooler piping?
