  4. Sorry keep missing your calls mate. I'll give you a bell later tonight. my phones loosing signal at random locations, my home being one of them. I'll try and call you when I finish work around 4-5pm.
  5. Some good advice Chris, I did wonder about the sudden change of power rather than the final value of pressure but the strain change on the components. I think if I do a build I'll just use a small set up, say 35-50. It may seem pointless, but before I buy a house it's definitely something I'd like to say I done and understood and didn't sacrifice too much of a risk through the process. I'm hoping by lowering compression more than usual I'll be safer when it comes to using it.
  6. Maybe a sticky thread would help all the questions instead then? There is enough information out there to satisfy myself I was merely suggesting some sort of info that may help grab the eye of new members who aren't so skilled with the search button.
  7. It was a joke mate I'm sure with the right set up and enough time to sort it I'm sure it would be a possibility. But, that's not the road for me. Thought such a statement would get responses I've began reading up on it, I'm just asking the odd question when I find something I'm curious about and google isn't in the mood for easy answers.
  8. No mate. Emanage is designed for nos.
  9. Do you think running the same system, 3" or all the way 4" would make a difference on a dyno?
  10. As I understand it, nitrous feeds the engine with a large volume of oxygen, so for example, a 600bhp set up with 100bhp shot of nos would require 700bhp worth of fueling capabilities, but if the turbo is limited to 600bhp, would the set up still be ok? This may be a dumb question, but my brain tells me turbo denotes power though my logic tells me power is created by air and fuel volume and not merely bu the amount being sucked by the turbo if using other fueling resources. My thinking is you wouldn't use a 700bhp turbo for a 600bhp setup with 100 shot as you might as well ditch the nos and run 700 constant without having to refill. I'm just trying to understand the concept of nos and it's requirements and supporting features of the engines. This may sound stupid I apologise if I sound retarded. Thanks for any help, sorry for newb question.
  11. I hit 373bhp on a fair budget as well, manual without any issues. Welsh hit 410bhp on his manual NA-T. Not heard any issues there either. Craig, you still selling your gt40 garret?
  12. Do your research. The forum is covered in na-t vs TT swap threads. People have their own opinions and many miss the advantages and disadvantages of both. Best advice is to research the various discussions and find the different points of both processes. People will be swayed towards what they currently own.
  13. I rang up about a 4" exhaust for my car. For the new engine my plan of attack is get the breathing spot on instead of go crazy on boost. Matey said he had an m3 running 1000bhp on a 3" and that would suffice, yet I see some 3" systems on here struggle I try and look at it like wire when you have different value resistors in a circuit. With the exhaust having nothing beyong it I would imagine a 3" pipe with straight through exit would have alot less restriction through it than a 3" mid/down pipe leading into another system which is why the 4" mid/down pipe to 3" system definitely makes sense to me.
  14. Anything saying NA-T will always get poo poo'ed mate. I like it, maybe make a few custom bits from that logo, get the bmp into a cad file easy.
  15. I've a 2.5" whifbitz exhaust system single box, sounds nice. I want to sell it for a bigger system as well. I think ur nuts going for a TT systm rog. people do NA-T so much for so much less.
  16. Good photos guys. Hope to make it next year.
  17. I was thinking about making a twin set of lights like that, they looks the nuts. http://www.supercars.net/carpics/3831/1997_TOMs_Supra1.jpg
  18. Just a little plug for a suggestion for an NA-T section on the forum here
  19. ever thought about just abiding the speed limit? lol
  20. I'm not 100% on your steering wheel, but the rest of the dash looks like a really good combination of custom vs stock, custom interior with suttle modifications definitely looks better, really liking your work mate. Come work for me

  22. Spend the money on some nice interior bits;) On a serious note, they will begin to wobble over time. They do look cool, because they are different, but so many people have done it, its not so different these days. It's a bit like neons. Too much of a good thing.
