  1. Black wheels are definitely the way forward!
  2. Need my Rays refurbished, and spoke to these guys on the phone today. Really good quote of £220 for all four wheels, de-curbed, polished rims, refurbed centre caps and the centres re sprayed satin black. Now this is a really good price imo, but seem to remember a thread about a company that didnt do a good job, and for some reason this company seems to pop into my head when i think about it, but cant locate the thread. Anyone used these guys before, and what was the work like, or heard any bad rep about them? Want to see if I can get a view of the company before I send an expensive and quite rare set of alloys to them.
  3. Exactly that. Whatever you like, is what you should go for. You may get ripped for some things, but its all part of being a member! Just dont take anything to heart.
  4. Im gutted for you too mate. Was really looking forward to seeing that B E A U tiful car in the flesh, like so many others I'm sure

  6. i asked this very same question a couple of months ago. IIRC HID's are fine so long as the self levelling and headlight washers fitted as standard are in working condition. If the self levelling and headlight washers do not work, then it is a fail. Now the good bit......If the car is NOT fitted with self levelling and headlight washers, then the HID's can NOT fail MOT, as what is not there can't work. Make sense? So.....if you have a UK Spec, with washers and self levelling, it HAS to be in working order for the HID's to be an MOT pass. If you have an IMPORT, which hasn't got self levelling or washers, HID's are still fine Hope this helps. I'll try and find the previous thread for a clearer answer
  7. Same here.......however, the good news is i managed to pile all the junk in the garage against the wall, giving me enough space to respray all the wheels, and nudge the car in just far enough to do the calipers so still got the jobs done
  8. I do mate, but as previously mentioned, it needs a little fibreglass to fix it. £10 its yours and I'll bring it to JapFest for you if you like?
  9. Yeah pretty good mate. Couple of days there were downpours, but good enough to have me sweating my tits off sunday playing football! And had a couple of nice walks along the viaduct with the missus and kid, so yeah, generally was a nice week in the s***hole that is holsworthy lol
  10. If you can hold it I may have it at the end of the month mate. Not 100% though.
  11. Its the cold mate rather than the rain. So much junk in the garage right now i can only get half the car in and there just isn't anywhere for the junk to go unfortunately. Hate having a cluttered garage, but until parts sell, its just the way it is.
  12. Custard! A whole trolley full of the stuff! Then got back, and subsequently decided to fill the bath with it......to the rim! To this day, dont remember any of it, except for the receipt i found in my jeans the next day.....£93 something on CUSTARD!!!!!!!! The wife was NOT happy to say the least!
  13. Just spent a week down in devon visiting the family and in laws, and had glorious weather most of the time. Now, the plan was that when we got back to lovely south Wales, the wheels would be coming off the supra for a bit of tlc and a respray, and i would get the calipers painted. The wheels have come off and been cleaned up ready for a re-spray, and the car is now sat out the back on axle stands with carrier bags on the brakes lol and a cover on, as all of a sudden the weather has gone to poo, and is too cold really for painting anything. Why is it that weather always interupts plans when it comes to working on the car? Sometimes I really do wish I lived somewhere else, with a lovely warm sunny climate all year round! So now need to wait for the weather to warm up a bit before cracking on with the wheels and calipers. Best get polishing the bay ready for JapFest then i suppose......will make it easier come closer the time.

    Hi

RWD isn't as bad as you might think. I went from a Gen7 Celica to an N/A, was a little bit wary, but absolutely fine. As others have said, if you're not respectful, it will bite back, but to be honest, it's easily controllable if the ass does step out. Jump in and take the plunge mate. You will only regret it if you dont
  15. How much would you want for just the door cards if you have them?
  16. I want one! Would be a nice touch to include it in my next boot install, think it would be a nice little touch to it
  17. In no way taking the pi$$ either! It's always a sad time when someone says goodbye to a wonderful machine. Your pain is felt by the forum my friend. I'm off to sob in the corner for you
  18. RRB looks the best to me. The fact that there is no gap between the seat and the back makes it look more like a non-reclining seat, which is a big plus in my eyes. Black with red stitching for me.
