  1. M5 would get my vote Paul. I've owned an E39 V8 and driven the V10. Both awesome cars. The E39 was pretty much the same to insure as the Supra, and similar on fuel too. the V10 is just something else though.....
  2. Managed to end up behind you coming through buckshaw this morning. It's a lovely looking car!!
  3. Where abouts on the A581 was it Martin? Was it on the wide bit going away from Croston?
  4. Selling on behalf of my brother - Ebay Link here: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320720622786
  5. Mine is Red, Bomex Front, the same as yours, and TRD skirts and Spats & Standard Spoiler. Its the first time i've seen yours out in Leyland.
  6. Definitley wasn't me! It was me and another bloke in the van. I was on your left as you were turning right. Didn't spot the nice looking girl though. It's something of a rarity in Leyland!!
  7. I know alternators can be an issue on these. Might be worth getting a volt meter on the battery with it running? Had a customer at work that had similar problems...
  8. Thought it probably was looked nice! I was at the lights outside Arnold Clark in a silver transit
  9. I'd seriously try one, as Josh said, they are a very good auto box. I had an Impreza P1 before the Supra, and an E39 M5 before that; both quick, manual cars. I love the Supra though!
  10. I wouldn't rule the auto out. Drive one first I have a 1997 Jap Spec Auto and i love it! (BPU obviously!)
  11. The Supra looks miles better!!! Don't do it!!
  12. Just seen 264's in your garage specs, ignore me... Good result though

    Swirl scratches

It's amazing just what a difference it makes! Then apply a decent wax over the top, Zaino or something from memory....

I have used Poorboys World Black hole Glaze for a quick fix, or Menzerna Final finish polish works well. That's on a red car too. Came up a treat! had to be machined though, a mate of mine who's a detailer did it.
  15. About 962BHP mate, dont forget its at the wheels, so the flywheel power will be a fair bit higher
  16. Might be worth having a look at this too: http://pediatrics.about.com/od/autism/l/bl_autism.htm
  17. We had a similar thing with our little girl when she started school, she too displayed autistic tendencies, but she seems to have grown out of them. I'll have a word with my mum, she is the Special Educational needs co-ordinator at the school where she teaches and is pretty clued up on stuff like this. There are comparison charts and questionnaires that you can fill in at home to see where abouts on the spectrum your child is. It might be nothing to worry about. I'll try and see what i can find out mate. What tendencies is he displaying? If you'd rather not put it on here, by all means PM me and i will speak to my mum later. Hope you get sorted mate, as i say hopefully its nothing to worry about.

There's this HKS FCD on ebay matey: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/HKS-Fuel-Cut-Defender-/140564150813?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item20ba46ba1d
  19. well i did see the graph so no maybe about it defo 12 hp, as for the road i dont kmow it did feel like a sharper more responsive acceleration, but the noise of the system just wanted it back to the normal induction system. Think as Nic said, they'll have had the bonnet open. I've dyno'd loads of Civic Type R's with K&N typhoon induction systems fitted. They will show an extra 12-14BHP with the bonnet open as there is no heat soak. Same on any car i'd assume....
  20. I run a K&N cone filter on my BPU Jap Spec, it makes the first Turbo sound a touch louder, i also run a Blitz Nur Spec R exhaust, that kind of takes the emphasis on noise away from the air filter......
