  1. I got a price from Oakmere Toyota in Northwich, Jason Lowe, the parts manager is quoting £215+ vat Each, which is £516 per pair all in, not sure on postage. Mine came within 2 days. He did say that if anyone from the club rang him he would be able to offer discount on Toyota bits though if they quoted the owners club! 01606 45525
  2. Probably the copper contacts are worn you can buy a starter refub kit : http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TOYOTA-SUPRA-MK4-JZA80-3-0-inc-TT-TWIN-TURBO-STARTER-MOTOR-SOLENOID-REPAIR-KIT-/290607555264?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item43a98f62c0 Probably the most cost effective repair. Check the connections on both the battery and starter motor first though and make sure they are good. If it is the contacts, a refurb kit is a sight cheaper than a new starter motor! Worked for me anyway!
  3. Pm replied. Provisionally sold pending payment!
  4. As title, good condition, just decided it's time for a change and taken it off. £80 collected from Chorley / Leyland Lancashire, or £90 posted. I'll add pics of it off the car when I get it back off the guy who sprayed my car later on hopefully!
  5. Not sure if you're still after one of these, but I have one, good nick, £90 posted. Last one I could find sold for £80 collected. There are no major marks, usual small swirl marks but hardly noticeable....
  6. Don't suppose the headlights are facelift are they? If so, would you be interested in selling those separately?
  7. Definitley not genuine Toyota! can vouch for that !
  8. I've got the same discs on my car. Can't fault them, think I paid about £175, so not a bad price. Can't remember the exact make. They look good on though with the coloured centres!
  9. I'm in Leyland if that helps Gav? I'm on an LSD though but I can't fault it
  10. I was in the red supra in front of you going up Bolton street about half 3
  11. Spotted you on winckley square about half 4 today
  12. Bump! Anyone? Save me paying the best part of £500 from Toyota :-)
  13. What did you pay if you don't mind me asking?
  14. As per thread title, must be in pretty good condition, preferably no yellowing and chrome rings in good nick. Cheers!
  15. Didn't have a VS Spoiler and Bomex front did it? Possibly Tooley....?
  16. I've got the same issue. Turns out its a Knackered top mount
  17. I took my crash bar off to fit my Bomex front, doesn't seem to have done any harm....
  18. Out of interest, with Admiral, which mods did you declare? The lad i have just spoken to there says they wont cover a car with anymore than 6 modifications.....
  19. Plus, i think the V10 is 7 speed.... They are massive fun, and pretty easy to drive like a manual. You just dont have to use your left foot!
  20. The SMG works really well, its basically a manual gearbox with paddle shift and no clutch. A mate of mine had the same thing with an E46 M3. Was adamant he wanted a manual, but has ended up with an SMG and its spot on. They dont kick down like auto's do, and you can drop a couple of gears quickly when you need to. Plus on the upside, they automatically blip the throttle on downshifts. I guarantee if you drive an M5, be it an E39 or an E60, you'll want one!! One of my biggest regrets was selling the M5. Its one of the few cars that the Mrs Liked!! Driveability on the SMG is fine. You can leave it in full auto, or use the paddles when you want to!
  21. The E39 models were all a 6 speed Getrag manual, all the new V10's are SMG, but that said, it's a good system IMO! It's worth driving a late spec 2001> E39. They are quick! I put a full stainless on mine and it sounded awesome!
