  3. Few small marks, looks to have been painted before, as you can see some poor prep work, only close up though. All mounting brackets intact. Collection from PR7 preferred. I will get pics up later on. £40?

    Fuel Pump

Might be a daft question, but should you be able to hear the fuel pump in the car? I can hear a low pitched whining noise with the engine running. The car starts and drives fine. Not sure now if it's always done it. I'll take the pump out and check it Friday, if its a Bosch or Walbro, does it have branding on it? I cant see that the last owner has fone BPU and left a stock 14 year old fuel pump on...
  7. Matt, the company i work for sell a product called Cataclean, a couple of bottles of that should give the car a good clean out. We have had great customer feedback so far. I could do you a bottle or 2 for £12.50, usually £14.95. If you're interested in trying any, let me know.
  8. :dThat looks awesome! Can't wait for the finished item!
  9. Parked up outside a house on bent lane in Leyland, seen it a couple of times driving about, anyone on here?
  10. Sorry matey, was answering Josh's reply, should have replied with a quote! :0) That other one looks awful!
  11. As i said earlier. its a 1989 car. If you put its reg number into the DVLA website, it is listed as a 2.9 Ferrari. But for some reason, registered on a 51 plate in early 2001 over here. Not sure how that works though......
  12. According to the "Free car check" app on my i-phone, it is a ferrari, manufactured 31/12/1989 and first registered here 21/2/2001. Says it's a 2.9 as well. I would guess its legit! Awesome car!!
  13. We've tuned a few V10's at work in the Touareg and the Paheton, VW Australia run 2 or 3 Touareg R50's with Tunit's fitted that our guy over there supplied. Never heard of any serious issues. They're a hoot to drive, and massively tuneable!! :-)
  14. I didn't like to say mate! :-)
  15. I mis-spelt Chorley in the original post, re-posted "Chorley Even" and then realised i could actually edit the original heading.... Whoops
  16. I'd go 4.2 Landcruiser all day Jamie, i've driven loads. As others have said, not as nice as the Landrovers, but good residuals and built to last. The 3.0Di Patrols are good too, i would be inclined to steer away from the Navara though, they aren't that reliable, i deal with a few Nissan dealers who all say the same!! Unless you look at the new V6 diesel.... The Disco III and RR Sport TDV6 2.7's can be prone to popping injectors, especially if tuned. The new 3.0TDV6 is far better.
  17. Worst tyres i have ever experienced. Had them on a set of aftermarket wheels on a 350z, my mrs came off a roundabout sideways at about 20MPH in the dry, by accident, they just don't grip. Ended up costing me a new alloy wheel and hub assembly as it got bent under the car! The shi**er was, my wheels were only 2 weeks old!!
  18. Near the pines hotel about 6pm. I was in the red supra waiting at the roundabout
  19. That'll be me on my way to work matey! :-)
  20. Saw you at about 9am this morning, going past Chorley Hospital. I'm sure the car had Irish plates, standard bodykit and headlamp eyebrows
  21. Fantastic cars! I regret seling mine, you've done well with the Remap, i had mine Revo'd and it only made 246BHP and 270lbs/ft :-( Still quick, reliable and good fun to drive though! Good luck with the sale mate!
