  1. Come on Hodge, sound clip please?
  2. For me a nice 2j powered supra, liking the sound of Jamie's supra, especially at 1 minute 14, And of course i do like the sound of an 2J with T67DBB on a supra, [video=youtube;9-O9r5fq-j0]
  3. Nice one, I thought the billet turbo was/is a faster spooling turbo over the T67 non billet version, nice shifted though as Jamesy's had the automatic gearbox as far as i know.
  4. Was watching this today and it made me laugh, Enjoy,
  5. Here you go dude, here is the link to the tech article on MKIV.COM, http://www.mkiv.com/techarticles/parts/oem_mkiv_rim_widened/index.html Have a read through this thread too, http://www.supraforums.com/forum/showthread.php?580277-Pics-of-MKIV-on-Factory-TT-Wheels/page4 For information on the widening process of alloy wheels, integrity of the wheels after widening sent an pm towards, http://www.weldcraftwheels.com/index-9.html I think they can answer your questions.
  6. 17" x 8" (50mm offset) for the fronts 17" x 9.5" (50mm offset) for the rears http://www.mkiv.com/faq/faqtt.html#wheels&tires5 http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?236446-Stock-UK-17s-sizes&highlight=stock+wheel+sizes
  7. iirc the oem 17's are 17x9.5" for the rears and 17x8'' for the fronts. For the stance in the above pictures, only the 17x8'' got widened to 11,5''. For tire options i would suggest talking to someone who has more experience in tire choices, I know there is a tire vs rim size calculator on the forum somewhere,, I run 9J's up front with 245's and 10J's at the rear with 275's all are Bridgestone Potenza's RE050A.
  8. If you're thinking about 17's all round, maybe you can find a nice set of 17's, get them refurbed and widened. Well that is just an example, good luck with any route you take, copy paste article, Easy. Goto MKIV.com in the tech section, there is a write up on just that (move rear wheels to the front, widen the front wheels to 11.5"). Works like a charm. Good luck!
  9. Thank you John, sure I will. I’m still learning from you all,
  10. Complete respray in 040 white, Getting all the oem bodyparts installed, except for the Vis racing c/f bonnet (trd-style) which maybe in a later stadium will be changed for an UK-spec bonnet if i can find one in good condition, Getting the windows tinted, Order a set of new wheels, For the next couple of months I will be gathering most of the parts for an single turbo conversion, it will be a little bit of planning, and actually hope end of 2012 I can bring my car to the UK for some proper tuning.
  11. @ Rob, ok will be nice to read by the time. @ Jamie, is tire wear the same as with road tires? when used for road use only.
  12. Ok nice, same over here, never seen one cruising through town down here with a drag car looking setup, I'm wondering how they feel like when fitted and cruising through town's and motorway, are you willing to let us know what your thoughts and findings are?
  13. Nice buy Rob, are you going to run/use them on the streets or only for shows.
  14. When i removed my rear spoiler, you could see exactly where it was installed due to the color difference, and off course the mounting holes.
  15. lots of parts and their weights, http://www.suprahardtopregistry.com/
  16. @ Andrew according to Jessica's spec list oem euro spec/uk spec/us spec.
  17. Am i missing something here, I always thought that an export version mkiv us/uk/euro could run 1,4 bar of boost safely and +/_450fwhp when at bpu level, add cams, camgears and standalone engine management will add another xx hp ontop of the 450fwhp, am i wrong? But also understand that there is a huge difference in 500 rwhp and 500 fwhp, And welcome Jessica, were you the driver in that video you posted?
  18. Had this discussion lately at work, my collegue is all about mercedes and their nice straight exhausts he was talking about, well my hks titanium racing which comes out of the back slightly in an angle, and he said, the lines of the supra are very nice and smooth why do people put an exhaust on it which doesnt come out straight, like most cars. I was trying to explain that it is wat it is and that it is the style and design of these exhausts that they come out within a certain angle. Like the boost logic full 4'' system, or 4''HKS titanium.
