  1. Im seeing this through until its done. Glad to be helping Homer after knowing him for years on the forum Just epic really
  2. After one of these for my Supe
  3. Shes not far off now. Theres still a fair few bits to tick off but nothing major like the last few weeks. Once the brakes are fitted most of the heavy work is out off the way really. While im here, anyone got one of these laying around? It covers the fuel and rear lines further up the chassis. The car dosent have one and they are discontinued. Would be nice to have as much parts on the car as it came from the factory with
  4. What kind of intake will i use? Want a front foward facing one and ditch the overhead na intake. As it has to look good to
  5. So ill be wanting to convert my non turbo over to a turbo in a few years. Knowing me id want to have all the parts sorted before i start, down to the nuts and bolts. Buying a complete engine and doing work to it is out of the question. In my mind im thinking of starting of with a GTE head and complete intake with throttle body. Speaking with @Homer a small turbo would suit my driving style as im not out to acheive big power. But a turbo supra would be nice. Feel fee to list anything and everything. This post may be around for a while
  6. Anyone know the length of the 6 speed dual mass flywheel bolts? The thread and pitch are M10 x 1.25 Cheers
  7. Been a good few days on the car again, its coming along nicely so far. Honestly really happy for @Homer feels more complete after today. Were not far off and CANNOT wait for the day is goes up the drive on its own steam
  8. To be fair the bolts will do just as good as a job as the oem spot welds. The sub tunnel that determines if its auto or manual is 1mm if that, thick. so in a big crash where the tunnel could get bent, that panel will do near nothing. The main tunnel/ floor pan is where the strength and stronger metal is
  9. Cheers mate, that poor spoiler defo had a few hard hits to split it like that
  10. I remember this car from years ago. Had a life in Birmingham at some point. Wasnt that a skoda or fiat colour they used? Was hot in its day
  11. So my valve covers were leaking at the back for a while. Sometimes as it leaked down and touched the exhaust you would get a whiff of burning oil. So swapped those over using original seals...and discovered 1 and 2 cyl spark plugs FULL of oil! Leaking all round really...so degreased the engine...new seals and my newly powdercoated valve covers and hooks in gloss black. Wanted a change in the bay from the blue and went for a Chameleon ultra violet and neon blue pigment to go with the gloss black. First time painting it...was super fun and came out mint. Something i used to see at shows back in the day...and something i want to continue, my style is stuck in that era Also swapped my rear lower braces as they got a little crusty...and some new high tensile bolts
  12. Today was a good day, the Bacon sarnies hit the spot As @Homer said the tunnel came out as best as it could considering what what we had to begin with. Making good progress. Cant wait to get back on it. Few days off the RSP as mine needs a few little jobs doing
  13. Mines purely for looks as a dont really drive it too hard
  14. For a while ive been thinking of fitting a TT power steering reservoir, looks nice and could be pre turbo doings. Until @Homer gave me a polished power steering reservoir cover. Fits the NA with some trimming but it sealed the deal at fitting one. Loving it!
  15. Cannot wait to see the RSP tunnel all painted, and so far everythings going well apart from the driveshaft fiasco, but someone out there will have what Homer needs im sure
  16. I did say to Homer that if this car had feelings, it would be so relieved to have that botch cut out!
  17. Another good day on the car. That welding on the tunnel was a complete mess. But worth getting it out and doing our best to clean it up and revert it back to a manual tunnel, Also a UK spec auto gear selector mech came out the car so worth messaging @Homer Onto finishing the tunnel on my step Supra
  18. Yup another day of progress, and it was good. Yea diff removal and fitting has happened alot now haha will be sad to see the silver one go. Will be a beauty for the new owner but so will the rsp when its done. Looking foward to the next day fixing Supras
  19. Muteki sr48s alot of places sell them
  20. Had another good day today, almost came to a stop when one of the sliders was frozen. The sun was something else today i tell ya looking foward to next time and Darryls son is going to be one clever kid when he grows up totally into all the fixing stuff and machines
  21. Check the air sensor on the bulkhead nearer to the passenger side. Has a nipple coming off it with a vaccum hose going to the inlet manifold. If they break they can cause those symptoms
  22. I skipped through it and they seemed to slate the car
