14b is the pin and wire that controls torque converter lock-up, I can't remember the wire colours? In 'my garage' - Tuning - AEM 30-1100 link there's a diagram showing the ECU pins. According to DVLA, here in the U.K. we're killing them @ around four a week.

Two years ago I fitted a Meziere electric pump because I wanted to run the pulley the other way. I have since changed the belt configuration and now that asset is not necessary, yet the unit has operated without fault. For me it'd pay for itself if/when the supercharger throws a belt, which it hasn't done yet. Once fitted it's a simple job to replace.

That'd work, crimp and solder all joints.
