  1. Found and ordered should be here tomorrow. two part numbers are listed one for active aero and one without for reference. RETAINER, FRONT BUMPER, LOWER CENTER NO.2 52527-14050 (Price £32.50 incl vat) 52527-14060 Cars with Active Aero (Price didn't ask ) - - - Updated - - - Yeah its not cheap for a strip of metal sad face.
  2. Do any of you know the Part number for the metal front bumper strip that hold the front bumper under tray on before I ring Toyota and spend an hour explaining what I'm looking for haha. Last time I spent ages explaining I need the lower engine sump and ended up with a fuel tank cover part :/ That's the main one in the mouth of the bumper.
  3. Prices vary but I can tell you your Sequential Turbo pipes are only useful to VVTI owners they are different to Non VVTI IIRC. I put forward the offer of £25 for the 5 main metal sequential pipes plus postage or I can collect at a mutually convenient time.
  4. Actually looking at that video is it worth replacing the internal VVTI cam o rings as well?
  5. I watched that earlier but he has a different problem his is an internal cam gear problem I want the whole gear off.
  6. I'm trying to diagnose a oil leak and suspect the cam oil seals are weeping does anybody have a guide on how to remove the VVTI pulley as the repair manuals on here don't have any info nor does Autodata for the VVTI engine.
  7. Awesome actor in Twister & True Lies and recently in 2 Guns very shocked he has died
  8. I almost bought one but ended up with the 3.0tdi A5 instead I made a mistake... I love that shape 5 series but it was hard finding a nice spec black one at the time. The 335d coupes that are now long gone were nice aswell. The 3.0tdi In the Audi is rubbish for those of you wondering and the S-Tronic boxes are notchy garbage. Buy BMW
  9. because they are shit I fell victim to them on my old Mr2s they just rub and scratch the paint so in the sunlight it looks a mess thus giving me more paint scratch removal work to do. No cover is better- A heated Garage is better still
  10. Haha same here in Durham just normal Northern weather...

    Insurance farce

A strange system they have indeed out of curiosity I plugged my car details etc into confused.com and to insure my car at my friends address who lives across the road (out of my secluded estate but no more than a few hundred meters) and in a row of Terraced houses it was an additional £600. We all thought it was hilarious.. my friend has since moved haha
  12. Supras also bring all the 16-18 year old males to the yard OR balding 30-40 year old men either way heterosexual owners lose
  13. Who remembers Steve Irwin?
  14. Always had a Supra since turning 18 and now being 26 I suppose I keep it because well I don't really know Nostalgia?? I could buy something else I suppose but the truth is I stopped caring about cars last few years I moved into other hobbies.
  15. nice to hear you held onto it you got a rare bargain.
  16. are you the guy who bought that UK spec and welded a new radiator support in?
  17. I think you lot are thinking too much into this as stated the fuel tank is plastic as is the filler upto the cap so rust I wouldn't worry about. With regards to fuel quality degrading over time I spend allot of time around Marine Engines some more advanced than the 2JZ running higher compression and boost levels and more sensitive to bad fuel (water contamination etc) some not so advanced (Yank V8 crap). some owners stick dry fuel in to counter condensation some don't the end result is generally the same no problems with starting or running under load on generic petrol most leisure boats can go well over 12 months without being started aswell. I always leave the Supra for 6 months at a time with barely any fuel in over winter and its fine I am more concerned with keeping salt away from it TBH haha. Always used Tesco 99 if anybody cares but V power performs exactly the same hell I ran all my older Jap scrap on normal 95 and never had any problems actually that's a lie I had a Rev 2 MR2 Turbo that didn't like 95 and ran lumpy until I filled it up with 99.
  18. Il straight swap you my VVTI HKS induction kit with updated filter that actually filters as opposed to the original HKS unit and all it will cost you is your big shiney brake setup. Fair deal Other than than Mike you will be best making an elbow or buying one from Toyota they are not cheap though.
  19. He probably means he had a month to post it then 8 months worth of dispute equating to the 9 month Si... Did you sell that silver TT yet?
  20. Can somebody give me the lowdown on why Ben Newell seems to have pissed so many people off I must have missed something I remember years ago he was always on here then he had trouble with Hodge then he was asking for his profile to be removed. What actually happened ? I seem to be getting an impression he Exaggerates Wealth but whenever I ask people have a different story.
  21. That is a lovely looking car... as per a few comments you just need to wire in the rear fog light and remove that thing hanging from the back
