  1. There is a short documentary on BBC iplayer about this guy.
  2. That's all the old gear aswell come to think of it there was nothing wrong with my brakes I was just bored over winter haha the Pistons were really clean no corrosion I could have saved a packet and just changed the seals instead. That's a CW Piston vs a Toyota plated piston you can see dirt on the old one but that was just because I had not cleaned them off after removal. And that's the full kit. CW Stainless Pistons UK front/rear New piston seals/clips New half seals/the little o ring looking things CW Stainless UK calliper Pins Also I got a new Toyota pad fitting kit front/rear from Toyota A set of braided lines is a nice addition while your on aswell.
  3. This was a really light gold it was more bright yellow for an idea. Before I stripped and powdercoated I had painted the front Halfs yellow they looked ok but the finish is much much better when the callipers are split properly and powder coated I clean my brake system once a year and with Powdercoat it's a doddle plus the WHOLE caliper gets done as opposed to hand painting which no matter how you spin it never looks as good. The half seals are cheap enough from CW.
  4. I have seen Al Massey is a admin on there. I have no experience just wondered why he was not on here.
  5. I was just curious who the bloke was and why I had never heard of him before the Facebook page I suppose I got my answer.
  6. well... that looks like a messy situation
  7. Some of you may have seen this guy popping up consistantly on the Facebook sales page is he to be trusted? I'm sure I have seen some warning posts about him does anyone know anything about this?
  8. Split and rebuilt with CW stainless pistons and pins etc then powdercoated Gold..

    Coilovers

Keep in mind coilovers are not simply 1 set fits all.. BC sell different spring sets with the popular BR-series 30 way adjustable dampening coilovers I have the spring rates wrote down here somewhere but basically you can have Road springs/Fast road/Track. It seems to go a miss with a few people who slate certain coilovers for them being to crashy/stiff/bouncy yet when you ask the same people which spring sets they chose and why they dont have a clue and mostly ordered online and left the decision to the supplier. what you pick will depend on your area I personally live in the middle of nowhere and have BCs BR series fitted with Road springs with carefully chosen dampening settings and a geo setup. previously I had the same Br series with fast road fitted and they were a terrible ride. As many will tell you its personal preference, I will never track this car I just wanted a height adjustable setup to replace my 98 cusco units. Oh and rubber top mounts are far more durable and easier to live with in my opinion.
  10. Thats a nice Spec very very reasonably priced not much work to do really. you need to adjust that handbrake though its pointing at the sky haha..
  11. Haha it was but I was swapping the dash and changing the heater matrix so thought I'd do it all at once.
  12. I got a load done a few year ago they still look good although it was a pain pulling the dash out lol. Full set of facelift dash panels All vent surrounds including the long one beneath the windscreen Both electric window surrounds Both door handle cups Both inner door cups Ashtray Fuse box cover Brake res cover Oil cap Washed bottle cap Fan shroud Abs relay cover It came to £325 all in which I thought was good value.
  13. I have had loads of MK2 MR2s and the Sills etc on the MR2s rot out for fun where as the MK4 Supras require very little attention.
  14. I heard X13mgr is a Hillary Clinton supporter... Its for the best the Facelift set goes to me
  15. Il just get a set of Bosch aero wipers then and go read about other pointless things like ohhhh I don't know maybe painting spark plugs to make them more prettyfull
  16. As did I but I consistently get told my wipers are S### and I should get flat wipers... Apparently wipers are a big deal. :/
  17. Don't be greedy - - - Updated - - -
  18. Forgive me but I read the Bosch Aero Twin are the best you can buy have any of you used them?
  19. Can I Take/Dibs set 2 please pending details... Are they staggered? If so what widths? I can send deposit if required..
  20. As strange a question this is too ask but what Front window Wipers do you lot use on the Supra. I feel like Window wipers are commonly overlooked I currently have some Bosch units that I fitted when Jurgen imported the car back in 2013 and they seem dead after roughly 18months use IE: 6 months a year rarely ever seeing rain ofcourse. What do you lot think... Apart from the fact it's a trivial question.
  21. Been playing it on Xbox one today I had to sign up for free a few month ago. It's definitely different. Also the code only works with linked email accounts of that makes sense so even if you get a code it won't work.
  22. Haha I suppose its all about space its not really an issue with most boats but a car would certainly be a technical achievement. I know that our twin diesel engines are powered by superchargers until a clutch disengages them and the turbos take over. It must be a robust setup as high rpms are constant on boats as apposed to a car. Im not sure what gains can be had when complexity and cost are taken into account.
