  1. the sides of the bonnet dont seal so you will find small amounts of water can and do make their way into the air filter area and the battery tray area. I wouldnt worry much about your silver rubber front seal you can pick them up cheaply if you wanted but i doubt it will let much if any water past at normal speeds (30-70mph)
  2. I don't blame you although good MR2s up for sale are far more rare than good condition Supras nowadays. I would love another MR2 preferably a Standard rev3 turbo tintip in Caribbean blue, the MR2 driving experience is so much more rewarding than Supra driving IMO but the engine bay work was back breaking haha. I still remember back in 2008 when you could pop on pistonheads and have your pick of MR2s and Supras those days are sadly gone and I'm just getting old.
  3. You have had a sour experience since you left the MR2 scene havnt you.
  4. I couldn't say but 5.5k isn't bad along as it's not silver lol Don't rush in is the best piece of advise however I have had 3 Supras and my brother has 1 I've been on here since 2008 despite what the profile says and every winter the prices drop and bargains come out. Roll the dice...
  5. Yes it's true during the winter months there is usually a price drop as demand drops mostly due to people not using them and seeing them as excess or simply want money for Christmas the slump lasts until around March/April time when people start paying more for summer toys. I have had a few N/As over the years and if I was to buy it would be winter time for this reason hang on a few months and bag a bargain.
  6. Be patient your limited edition Corsa is much better than Roberts car you don't want a silver supra. It happens every year prices drop and you will have your pick towards december.
  7. I'm not usually a fan of green but that is very nice.
  8. There are plenty of nice N/As and TT Autos come up over winter just hold on a bit longer.
  9. I stand by the comments I made here you don't even know me why would you comment on my thread and start this tit for tat feud in the first place. You have had every chance to speak up about your apparent issues with me for the past few years face to face (you know weekly when you were stood next to me)but again you insisted on pissing in my thread for no reason as you are a coward. You lost the luxury of keeping this thread on topic when you posted utter rubbish in my thread (still no explanation why you did that) You can't have it both ways Robby accept that you made unreasonable and unfounded comments in my thread for no reason and this is simply Karma catching up with you. I must really struggle living off my successful parents please don't bring it up again it hurts my feelings that I get a wage top up every month I don't know how I will go on. (Sarcasm)
  10. For those of you that don't know Robby he's a sly old man that pretends to be nice to your face then makes personal attacks on people for no apparent reason thus leading me to this response which is exactly what it looks like "tit for tat" "The guy is a joke" He shouldn't be trusted in the slightest and at the price he is selling this thing you should save yourself the sadness and buy a nice 6 speed they do exist for this money. To sum up Robby your a Jealous,Petty,Sad old man and the Supra world will be a nicer place without you. I don't mind the whole clicky north east banter that goes on up here but you dished the attacks out for no reason so you can't complain at this comment. The thread in question... http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?330835-A-slice-of-Dutch-Cheese And another reference to how helpful Robby A will be during any transaction. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?334053-item-not-received-from-ROBBY-A
  11. Does look like cam covers weaping down the back of the block onto the box. The top of the box is wet and the bottom looks allot drier as if it's coming from above as opposed to leaking from the bottom. No pun intended
  12. Used a similar product on boat trailers for years it works well in salt water conditions.
  13. I got my first Supra from a guy who imported it himself and he lived at Western Supermare, since I brought it back to the North East its been like pass the parcel in the local area every few years its changed owner and usually colour and engine its probably been all the colours of the rainbow and has had N/A-Turbo-V8 configurations over the years. Its a real Slag of a car.
  14. Same I fitted a set of brides straight from the box no mucking about.
