Awesome mate. Finally a cool build on the forum ; it was quiet for too long now. Great spec list. I run Manley 87mm 9:1 pistons ... you will love the higher compression. Off boost response is way better on that 9:1

Compression is 9:1 ; Manley 9:1 pistons I don't have the HKS mod done to my turbo. The small turbo defo helps with spool ; it makes a lot of power, but 300 ftlbs at 2800 rpm and 600 ftlbs at 3800 rpm.

Thank you mate. The higher compression helps spool ; off boost response is much better. The VVTi stage 5 head SRD built work sgreat. Shimless buckets, oversize valves .... a great combo. On the road, it is awesome to drive ; cruising around in 4th gear at 40 mph is not a problem. I have positive boost in 4th gear at 2500rpm.

Hey Matt Take your time with the search, and keep us posted if you need advice. 6 speed manual is of course a good choice, but bear in mind that those 20+ year old boxes can have issues. Repairs can become costy .... some parts are simply no more available. Good luck
