  1. Exactly! Find someone who wants it though and you're probably on a winner.
  2. So when you go to the OEM look, what's happening to your Do-Luck spoiler...?
  3. Your car is now CRYING OUT for a nice set of OEM skirts and spats and a tidy colour-matched front lip.
  4. Understatement of the century! Quite who was put in charge of the design at TRD I guess we'll never know, but how they could create the 'conventional' (Type S) TRD spoiler, which looks better than the stock one and then that monstrosity as well is baffling...! As far as price goes I guess that that will depend on the demand. Chances are that if someone - Stevie Wonder, perhaps? - wants one of these spoilers, as they're so rare you can pretty much charge what you want. The Do-Luck ones, for instance, go for a REAL premium and whereas this probably won't attract the exact same figure it certainly has rarity going for it.
  5. Shall we go for the traditional list... EDIT: Change of plan at my end, I'll now be attending on the Saturday but only after lunch... So: Saturday: DaveR (PM only) Sunday:
  6. She looks awesome, Luc. Rocking the silver!!
  7. Yeah just get rid of it, it'll make no odds. Mine's been gone for 6 years...
  8. So very little chance of getting something similar squared away at a week's notice then...?
  9. I've just seen this thread... Is it too late to get space on a club stand? (Are two cars enough...? ) What day were you planning on going, Glenn? I'm working until 1230 on the Saturday so wouldn't get there until 1330-1400, but I'm off all day on the Sunday if that works? I quite enjoyed having a wander around this event last year so I'm up for a repeat.
  10. I'd like to see one of these in the flesh before commenting... You only get so much from pictures with no actual frame of reference, I reckon.
  11. C'mon, guys, the way people are talking here it makes it sound like every time you turn the key in a Supra you take your life in your hands...! Unless you're a COMPLETE idiot right from the word go, it's a car at the end of the day. One that needs a bit of respect and time to get to know, granted, but give the kid a break... To the OP: if it were me, I'd do exactly what I did 6 years ago and buy a stock (or as near to stock as you can find) TT6. I get what you mean about the auto'. Everyone raves about it and although I've never driven an auto' Supra, I've been for a passenger ride in a single turbo'd auto and it is indeed very quick. BUT... Like you say you don't, I just DON'T WANT ONE. If that's genuinely how you feel, inexperience or not, stick to your guns and get a manual. Yes the clutch is heavier than your average Euro-box and it can be a pain in traffic, but who cares? I love having the say over when my gears change and I don't intend to alter that sensation any time soon. You're not going to get an NA-T conversion done for £5k either so forget the idea. So there. Buy a TT6. They're for winners! Good luck on the hunt (and getting insurance!!!).
  12. Then all is right with the world. Nice plenum.
  13. This is only strictly relevant if you intend ever to sell your Supra. Mine IS still "numbers matched", but as I intend to be buried in it I'm not going to sweat that situation being changed if there's a modification that I want to make.
  14. Mmmmm, shiny. Looks very good matey.
  15. Glad to see the problems resolved, matey. Have fun on the drive back!
  16. Oooh, this! As it stands I'm on leave on that date, so I'm in. I'm going to continue the last posted iteration of this list although I realise there were a few others expressing interest. Feel free to continue, guys and girls! 1. Stu 2. Gibbsy 3. Pete 4. Abz 5. DaveR
