That yellow car is a bit... much!

I reckon it just needs a splash of carbon to really finish things off. I'm thinking slam panel, scuttle panel and spark plug cover...

I actually quite like them. I mean that silver Supra is otherwise, frankly, ruined what with the F&F style graphics etc, but the window covers are pretty cool. I agree with this for a proper job though:

I think where I park my car is having an adverse effect on my headlights. Basically the sun is on the front of the car for most of the day at such an angle that the passenger side bears the brunt and is therefore more yellowed more quickly. This will have to become a more regular process probably! Really I think I need to strip the headlights in the oven and re-polish the inside surface of the lens as that side is starting to look less than ideal. Or maybe I should just buy some shiny new facelifts... Anyway, for now: Before: Masked up: Meguiar's PlastRX going to work: After: And a comparison. Much better! : The tail lights weren't as bad as I thought once I'd wiped off the general grime, but as I was there I decided a quick once over with some T-Cut couldn't hurt. I absolutely agree with the 'do the job properly' approach, it was just that on paper (screen? ) it sounded ridiculous - "I'm going to strip the exterior of my car completely to change from silver to silver..."

Reading the first post I was a bit unsure about the concept of a full glass-out job to change the colour from silver to, uh, silver... BUT... clearly that was unjustified! That colour is very smart indeed. Good work.

Painted silver to match the car, definitely. On even your random internet picture they LOOK unfinished in black, like the owner hasn't bothered to spray the standard gel coat or something.
