  1. I'd go blue. Which I did... But red would be a good second choice. A lot depends on the colour of your wheels, too, I reckon.
  2. Mmm... Depending what time I get off work (and, more importantly, what time I have to start again the next morning!), I'll see if I can get to this. What's the "format" (for want of a less-formal sounding word) for the night?
  3. It's definitely worth paying the money to get this sort of thing done properly - it can lead to all sorts of dramas if not. You don't want to end up with a knackered engine for the sake of needing to spend less than a ton on an hour's labour!
  4. There're some great pics from the day coming out now. For some reason, my car seems to be in the background of loads of them, kind of only half-visible! Weird... Who took all the photos of Lui's convoy? I saw quite a few cameras at different points but I'm yet to see the results...
  5. I'd like to second this idea. Saturday was the second time I've been on a convoy and parked up on the Club Stand at a show and I still have no idea who most of the members are! Someone mentioned about name badges too - also a good possibility, I reckon.

    Wow just wow!

Impressive stuff. I question the integrity of the "facts and figures" given at the very top, but when that car came on boost it was no less awesome for it!

    Hi

Hi! Good luck with that. A new lease of life, I'm sure.

    Outbid!

Miiaaoow! Saucer of milk, table 5... Ha ha! I agree it was a bit of a risk and possibly something that would have been getting sold on again 5 minutes after the first test-fit, but I like to think it was a calculated risk...!
  9. I bet that description really narrows it down for them outside Castle Combe on a show day...

    Outbid!

I've just been outbid on eBay with 2 seconds left to go on this. Reckon it would have looked quite smart in black on my car... Come on then, own up. Who was it...?!
  11. Hi Kranz. My order, please: Fruit of the Loom 65/35 polo 63-402-0 XL Sky blue Black default-sized stitching in default locations with additional "George1200" below logo on left breast Are the bath towels available too? Would be perfect for work...

    MOT Today

Well done, well done. That's good to hear and indeed how it should be!
  13. Yeah that's all normal. Well, I hope it is, becasue mine has this too! Isn't this the sort of thing that an oil catch tank is related to?
  14. Sorry to hear about people getting caught out by the police. I didn't see any on either the way in (with Lui's convoy) or on the way out (around 3PM). Now is that a good thing or a bad thing...? I don't think I was breaking any laws anyway, but they can be funny buggers. We'll see. While I'm meandering around the subject, thanks to Lui for organising a great day - the convoy was an imposing sight even from the inside so God knows what other motorists must think! I'm sure the McDonalds at Reading didn't know what had hit it, either. I guessed you meant "tag the car that you own with your name," so that's what I've done. Hope that doesn't mess with the system!
  15. Random indeed, but very personable! Good morning to your good self, too.

    F*@k it!

Look on the bright side if you can: they say bad luck comes in threes, so there's your three. It's all good from here on in!
  17. On a different note, I was standing basically right in front of the Drift Works S13 when it stacked on the first drift demo. The accident stopped the drifting for the rest of the demo while they picked bits of the car off the track and assessed the ArmCo; the car looked pretty battered, but it drove off ok and the driver seemed fine. I got a vid of it, more by luck than by judgment as with so many of these things. Check it out .
  18. Hear, hear! It looked like there were some good pics taken of the convoy too, so bring them on also!
  19. Well looks like I'm the first... Had a great day, despite the best efforts of the weather. I wish I'd taken more pics, but short of having a waterproof camera (at least towards the start of the day) it may have ended tragically! Here's some of what I did take though (er, some may be slightly narcissistic from a car-owner's point of view!):
  20. Sounding good! Impressive stuff for staying in the speed limit...

    F*@k it!

Gutted for you mate. Your car looked ace at the show, too.
  22. Mmm... Opinion seems more divided than I thought. I'm even more tempted now...!
  23. I saw the re-run (or should that be re-re-re-re-re-run...?) on Dave of the Top Gear that has the review of the Aston Martin DBS and realised that the colour of the car Jeremy's driving would suit a Supra down to the ground. The colour, it turns out, is called Aston Martin Racing Green (probably not to be confused with British Racing Green...). Check out some gorgeous car porn here for an idea in case your memory needs refreshing. Anyone agree or disagree? And equally as importantly, can anyone photoshop a picture of a Supra to appear painted in this colour? I'd love to see it...
  24. Wow you're really selling this! Sorry there're dramas, on a serious note... Never good news.
